      Your mom with diabetes shouldn’t be eating bananas, they are a high-glycemic index fruit. Pears are more suitable for diabetics, if they even eat fruits. Check the low GI fruits scale if so. Also, carbs are a no no for diabetics. Speaking from my own experience and my father’s, he takes insulin, I reversed my symptoms thanks to the carnivore diet.

      Diabetics can eat bananas. Each person is different. Just like all food we just need to plan for it and eat in the correct order. Flash glucose monitoring systems have changed the way diabetics can eat. Plus your brain needs carbs to work so we can’t cut out all carbs.

    The persons allergic to nuts could use sunflower seeds butter, I think the brownies would taste even better

      I'm allergic to sunflower seeds too. I hate nutty taste in general so nuts and seeds are a huge no. I'm also allergic to chickpeas too

      @@Uukio6464 that sucks. I know what it's like to have a million allergies. I used to be allergic to everything too (gluten, soy, nuts, you name it), and my mom is allergic to a lot of things now. You might be able to replace the nut butter with avacado or egg, because that would help thicken up the batter. Also, i just checked again and it looks like the recipe in the video doesnt mention flour. So maybe adding some type of flour could replace the nut butter as well.

      @@randomusername429 Why aren’t you allergic to anything anymore? You grew out of it during childhood?

    • @randomusername429
      @randomusername429 Год назад

      @@Uukio6464 yeah. When I was a little kid my doctor had me get my body used to some of the allergins by eating a little bit of them everyday. I am still allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, and I am still technically a little bit gluten intolerant. But now i can eat soy and I can mostly eat gluten so I don't have to completely avoid it anymore.

      @@randomusername429 That’s cool. I just started taking allergy shots and they’re helping with my food allergies too. I’m not allergic to gluten but it would be a DREAM if it would help with that too

  • @penguincutieloveajpenguin5659

    I did not follow this recipe exactly (I added more cocoa and baking powder than requested, as well didn't add the dark chocolate). Overall, impressive considering it has no flour. My constructive criticism is the bananas and peanut butter (I used Wowbutter instead) overpowered the flavour of the brownie, this is why I added more cocoa. But even still the end result was overpowered with banana and peanut butter flavour. As well, this thing needs to be cooked for longer than said in the video. At 10 minutes its still quite liquidy, I cooked mine for 10 more minutes until just giving up and eating the brownie as is.
    So my advice to those who are making this recipe:
    1. You are going to need to cook it longer for 10 minutes.
    2. Try to pick alternative ingredients that aren't super overpowering in flavour if possible. Try to keep cocoa as the most powerful tasting ingredient.
    Again I was impressed of how it turned out considering it had no flour. But there definitely could be some improvements made. Thank you for sharing the recipe nonetheless, it was still pretty good!

      If 10 minutes doesn't work, just put it back in the oven for 8 more minutes; other people have said they baked it for 18 minutes total and came out better than a 10 minute timer ⏲
      Hope you see this! Lol

      If you can't have any nuts, use this recipe but instead of nut butter you Crush oats flakes in the coffee maker, then add 1 cup the time to reach the consistency like a thick sour cream . Bake for 350F for about 15-18 minutes... Let it cool and enjoy.
