What time is best to go, what bait, etc. Newbie here that just moved to the area and getting the kids into the sport. 😁

You can find them year round using live bait (shiners) around structure such as bride supports and the like. April through June is best for sight fishing throughout all South Florida. I Like the Yo-Zuri 3DS 4” suspended minnow during the spawn.

We are leaving the park now. The guy at the Bass Pro gave us two different types of bait that didn’t workout for us today lol

An in-line spinner will catch just about all the different types of fish in the park and surrounding canals.👍🏻
