Thank you - these are great videos. One tiny suggestion, when you press the buttons - with your finger and thumb touching, it's hard to tell if you're pressing right or left side. Again - very minor. Thanks for the great training!
Hi can you do a video on using the computer in tec mode and any tips tricks. Like using a travel gas,o2 brakes etc. save do one for normixic and hypoxic mixes. Also showing the difference between the Vpm and Buhlman +GF cheers.
Thanks for the video, really great. Does the TTS take into consideration that you're diving with 2 different gas mixes ? Meaning if you stay on Nx32 your deco time and TTS will be longer than expected by your computer ? Cheers
Is it possible to see the total decompression time when I’m down at e.g. 40 meters? In this movie I could see that the first stop has been on 20ft for e few minutes. After the first stop I only now see the second stop on 10ft. I would like to see the total decompression stop-time in order to tell my buddy about how long we need to wait. Im aware about TTS, but that’s only the time which needs to come to surface. To calculate at 40 - 50 meters is too difficult 🙈
Hi there, Very useful video. I have the Perdix and it seems to have very similar features. I have one question though. Is it possible to show the safety stop counter when the selected mode is OC TEC ? I see the TTS which includes it, but I never get the safety stop countdown. Thank you in advance.
You've probably already figured this out by now, but go to System Settings > Deco Setup > Clear Cntr - change it to on. When you reach your safety stop depth, the top right Time field for your Deco stops will change to a clear counter, which will start counting up from 0. After you reach 3 (or 5) mins, your safety stop is clear and you can ascend.
Since the question hasn't been answered and a google search didn't help, does anyone know how you enter the dive simulation mode. This video make it look you set up your dive plan then navigate back to the main screen and the simulation just starts. My computer doesn't do that.
I understood from the video that this was filmed in a pressure chamber, so after the dive planning, the speaker pressurized the chamber outside the camera.. Very nicely made video!
@@JukkaSiltanenDiver ahh, that's too bad. I was hoping such a nice computer would have a simulation mode so I could see how it works on land instead of figuring it out in the water.
Why are there NO PLANS to add a mixed gas tank transmitter to the Petrel? Are there some inherent problems if divers rely on the dive computer to indicate CHANGE GAS notification? Maybe transmitters are for beginners?

Excellent video series. Nice work!
Great information many thanks for sharing
Great video. Looking at a new Dive computer. Will consider Shearwater.

Hi nice, you should do this kind of video , using tec mode etc... tks:-)
Good job man. Thank you!
Could you inform please about how do you simulate a dive?
Thank you.
Was the omission of the safety stop in the planner deliberate, or will there be a future firmware that adds it?
Great info... thank for sharing

So when you pick a better gas that means you switched tanks right?

I just dont get how he starts the dive at 3:36. By just leaving the menu the simulation doesnt start on my perdix...
He’s using the computer inside a pressure chamber

Agree.. Would be nice indeed... maybe in a future firmware upgrade??
thanks for nice clarifications :-)
How do you simulate the 105ft dive without even getting in the water?
Why is the NDL of Ean32 only 15 minutes at 105 feet? At 110 feet padi tables show 25 minutes.
Do you sell trainings?
How do you get the .49 @RMV

Is this the same UI as the Perdix AI dive computer?
For the most part, it is.
qualcuno sa dove trovare un video in ITALIANO
Hmm, metric vids would be nice also for people outside ca,us
Hello
imagine not using metric in the 21st century...
Imperial units :-(
