    What the fuck does this prove, that you are, in fact, faster than Haynesworth? Oh wow, that's absolutely incredible given the fact that the man is well over 325 pounds. Where's your time for the Wide Reciever, Cornerback, Safety conditionings? You know, the positions that a person of your stature would typically be played by?
    I don't get it, either you are idiotically into yourself or you are just trying to make a mockery of an overweight lineman. I don't get the point, glad you are physically able to perform, but the purpose of this video is that there is none.

  • @EricIbe

    You are literally like 150 pounds. Of course you’re going to have more endurance

  • @MrBigtoast71

    How about you time yourself with putting on a 350 lb suit then try... I've personally had to do this test when I went to the buffalo bills workout... Don't ever compare yourself to a lineman. You have no idea what it's like

    My high school team had us do this before the season started. I ran 62 seconds both times, and it was my first year of football. So it amazes me it Haynesworth couldnt do it.

    @pmg1234 The 300 yard shuttle measures anaerobic capacity, an essential element of football fitness. This test is obviously not designed to measure sport specific football skills, it's measures fitness, which Albert obviously lacks. Haynesworth can't "disrupt the opposing line" if he's on the bench sucking wind.

    @dcolin100 and anyways, Mike Golic is clearly running the 6 x 50 yards version. There are 5 cones that are 10 yards apart and he goes down and back 3 times per shuttle. CK.

    im really out of shape from when i played and i did it conservatively in 68 seconds.

  • @pmg1234
    @pmg1234 14 лет назад

    TSuper
    Yes I know what the 300 yard shuttle test does, and technically it measure both aerobic and anaerobic ability due to the length of time. The average play in a football game is over in a few seconds, so the 300 yard shuttle which takes anywhere from 45-120 seconds doesn't really mimmick the physiological demands of Haynesworth's position. Over the course of Haynesworth's career he has accumulated 309 tackles, 28 sack, has averaged 13 games a year. So he's in shape for his job

    @3bwchristopher Maybe... it will also help if you're 6'6" with a 39 inch vertical leap like Big Albert. CK.

  • @13snoopy
    @13snoopy 10 лет назад

    It was a 25 yard shuttle, not 50. And you are required to touch the line each time before you sprint back in the other direction.
    Your "test" was much,,much easier.

    Lol! I think everyone here has a valid point, but I think we can all agree that he doesn't make the big bucks based on his ability to do this drill, and really the only reason this came to light is because of the way he's playing(or not) and THAT'S due to issues with coaching....

    Do the 12 X 25 yd shuttle run and touch the line. Why do it so easy?? And wear a 50# vest. Next you will run 300yd on the track and be amazed how fast you are.

  • @alwayzAngry

    please bench 400 lbs and squat 800 lbs... thanks.

  • @mysixpacklife
    @mysixpacklife  14 лет назад

    @jgcane LOL, I would say that Mike Golic almost did it. He ran the first one in 71 seconds and cut a few cones short. CK.

  • @mushthepig
    @mushthepig 14 лет назад

    He might not pass this version either, but Albert has attempted the 25-yard version...a version you acknowledge in this video as more difficult.

  • @F8alaty45
    @F8alaty45 13 лет назад

    You can bench and squad all you want, but if you can't pass a little conditioning test which EVERYONE has to pass how do you expect him to perform at a high level throghout the entire game, I'll be surprised if he's not gassed out after 5 minutes of play

    When people think endurance or something like that people think running. When i think endurance i think wrestling(not the stuff you see on tv) for three 2 minutes periods. Now that endurance if i say so myself

  • @saltybacon26
    @saltybacon26 14 лет назад

    linemans have to be fast, but not wide reciever fast, obviously being fast on the line is important but strength and technique is alot more important then speed, but if u wanna talk about cardio then thats a diffrent story

  • @MrJohnnyarmani
    @MrJohnnyarmani 14 лет назад

    @TSuperChallenge lol i was actually just thinking about making this same video. When i wasnt working and had some time i was going to go down to the field and tape it. I was gonna state that i played football for 6 years but, ive actually havent played in about a year and a half now and really havent been doing any conditioning. I'm also about 5'9 220 lol so i cant wait to make this video

  • @pmg1234
    @pmg1234 14 лет назад

    Haynesworth get's paid that much because his presence and skills on the field disrupts the opposing line. This guy is obviously fit, but i doubt he'd do as well if a 350 lbs lineman tackled him. The 300 yard shuttle is obviously not a good measuring tool for the skills Haynesworth needs to perform his job.

  • @mysixpacklife
    @mysixpacklife  14 лет назад

    @gmhippie For 100 million, I'd be running this test in 45 seconds... In fact I might make that a new goal...

    ok you may be able to run longer than him but can you bench over 500lbs i dont think so lol and give him a break the man is 6'6 350 and his job is to stand in the middle and just block the hole so the running back has to go outside

    Hey epi I could back and forth with you making personal attacks with someone i'll never meet in person. But nah i'll pass, I don't need to be a tough guy online too make me feel better about myself. I stand by my statement and expect him to have a good year with the Pats. And if you think suh didn't take one play easy all last year you're an idiot, that obviously dosen't watch football.

  • @dirtynate42

    I do like the nickname "Fat Albert" But distance running isn't even what he is being paid for. He needs to move 1-3 men back 1 yard if he is on the nose. He should never run more than 10 yards every 40s though.

    I think someone loves Albert Haynesworth. Wonder who it could be... Cough Cough 00GameReviews Cough Cough. I don't know this Albert what's his name person as I am British and we all know Rugby is a real man's game. We don't wear padding and stop every few seconds for a breather. We're men. Anyways... Regardless, this apparently is a test devised for him. A $1m contract he should be able to pass the test. I'm disappointed. Thumbs up to the video though :-)
