Hey man…quick question. How do you install the trim back on? Was hoping you’d show that cause my car is missing a piece and I have no idea how to install it.
I took off one of my weather strips today on my 2008 Chevy Malibu but it took over a hour I thought about taking them off today I had already took a lot of stuff off like a month ago but waiting for this garage sale done then gonna paint it all I have to take off is the weather strips basically and I will be good I could of got off before in June but didn't think of doing that until this week it took me about 4 or 5 weeks to take the stuff I did off car and I started in May the door knobs, front and back lights, doors, inside door panels, trunk rear bumper, front grille, sideview mirrors and hood but never had took that much stuff off before. The rear bumper and front grille was hard for me to take off too. The bumper in back would of been easier if I would of jacked the car up but I don't do that by myself my dad helps with stuff like that he used to be a mechanic he tried painting before a vehicle but didn't like it. I ain't real good at painting only did sometimes over the last couple of years but it didn't come out well but I can tell was getting better last year the last time I painted my GMC 2007 Canyon. To me now though I rather take more off a vehicle when paint now. I only paint when it's still warm though latest painted was October. I don't have a lot of time though because I am at work full time in the week 2nd shift but I have already been at the point 10 years knowing I want to work for myself. Once I move though I don't plan on staying at my job I really wanna work for God's kingdom doing what God wants me to do. I been through lots of jobs though so I know how it is am 43 and working for someone else all it has been is going in a circle since started working at 14 or 15.
Thank you for sharing this. I would imagine that reinstalling them is simply a matter of pushing them back in? Do you have any pro tips for putting them back on?

Wonder if this will work on Chevy Malibu LS 2008 I tried to take the metal part and weather strip off around doors but couldn't get it off.
