3-4 minutes every day translates to about 30 minutes every week. So my depression shower schedule gives me the same amount of shower as the doctor recommended one. oh yeah 😎

In regards to posture correction: I ruined my leg with a knee brace because it caused the muscles to deteriorate, different medical things but similar concept where my muscles weren't doing enough work. Beware people
When I hurt my knee and went to the doctor, he had me using a support sleeve instead of a brace for similar reasons, and my knee has really stabilized. I don't need to use the sleeve all that often anymore. And yes, I did keep up with the physical therapy. Avoided surgery, too.
I am a physical therapist and the sturdy braces are for very short periods where stability is compromised. Not always worn either in most cases. Worn mostly when standing or doing activities, however is taken off when not active. But like I said. Short term is the use for those. Some steered you wrong in its use and you suffered for it. But healthier joint need sleeves like the other poster mentioned. The sleeves allow all of the structures in a joint to engage.

He didn't mention climate specifically, but if you are sweating a lot (like if you were exercising) then yeah you should probably shower. But If you live in a nice, mild climate or if you stay in air conditioning all day, you're probably safe to skip a day or two. Sometimes you do, like when you are living in a hot climate or are physically active every day. but the rest of us don't.
