There are dance videos on RUclips with amazing choreography. I suggest learning from those especially since you can rewind and slow it down. Not all of them have tutorials but it's not impossible to learn them.
@@michelleklettner1897 you use a lot of different muscles than you do let's say volleyball. You can normally tell if someone's a dancer by their body because you use a lot of different and a lot of muscles in general constantly.

as a girl who’s been dancing for 10+ yrs the only problem was musicality and just like awkwardness, as the video went by it’s obvious you kept getting more comfortable and one thing that helped A LOT was that you were always very full out. YOU GO SIS
Monse Reynoso I don’t dance so I might be wrong but I also noticed some timing issues and as you said just general stiffness which is expected but this was very cool and an interesting video :D

Her body really improved, which I really liked to watch! Not just her dance improvement, but also the physical effects it has

Matt Steffanina is a good person to learn from, with being shy if you have enough space to dance in your room and can close the door then that is usually a good start to build up confidence. Go for i'm sure you'll be great :)
The most important thing to become a really good dancer is self-confidence. in your first step you are shy and stiff, my tip is: just move to the music don't worry about a choreo but try to find a rhythm first
The other day I was doing a whole face of fantasy makeup (my whole face was pink, even my brows) and I forgot to luck my room😅 my mom came in and ask me what I was doing (I always remove my makeup before anyone in my fam can see it) I just said to my mom I was having fun for a little, she just said that’s great, smiled and left my room They actually don’t mind like at all, idk why we are so shy around our families, we shouldn’t!!
I think she practiced all these dances beforehand and after practicing (however long that took) this video shows the finished product of each dance. It would have been nice to see a glimpse of the practice but I'm sure it wasnt easy
From the audio, I believe she was learning from watching choreography videos and moved the furniture around to make room. ( Move it back after you're done. Tee hee)
I’m a cheerleader and she can still dance better than me, even in the beginning 😂😭 But this is amazing and I really want to learn how to dance better. She’s absolutely amazing 🥰
Coming from a girl who has danced every style in the past 11 years, you're amazing. And to learn all of that in 1 year is insane, keep going but keep these tips in mind if you want. 1. Use your head and follow your arms. 2. Channel emotions into your dances, it's not just moves, it's all about the way you make the audience feel. A good dancer has moves but an amazing dancer makes you feel some type way. That's all, hope it helps :)
I have a question what if even if you do dance you just look awkward and stiff een though it feels that way and I don't have an mirrors in the house besides the bathrooms :D
@@laurenord3596 ahh! thank you so much! :DDD also sorry i hope my question and reply isnt rude! but also thank you again! :Di think i'll try to do that!

hahah i’ve gotten so many questions but basically before i filmed a cover i’d push everything out of the room or use our attic which was empty after my dad moved out. some rooms also weren’t in my house, hope that makes sense!!🤍
Your joy while dancing all the way throughout the year is the most important thing and it’s so cute that even though you weren’t the best at the beginning you always enjoyed yourself.
@@gabrielakrivosudska2288 I just logged into RUclips specifically to respond to your comment: YES! Oh please yes. Listen, when I was a teenager I constantly told myself I was too old to start learning how to do things - I was too old to learn guitar because my peers already could, I was too old to learn to dance because dancers my age were already practically professional, I was too old to learn to skateboard because everyone at the skate park already knew how to skateboard. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE PART OF YOU THAT THINKS THESE THINGS! I'm 26 now. If I had started dancing when I was 15 years old I would have been dancing for *11 years*. By the time I finished high school I already would have been a pretty good dancer! I have friends who only joined our musical theatre class in their last year of high school at the age of 17 (they had never performed before) and went on to have careers as actors. If you want to learn to dance, please learn to dance. I'm finally taking my own advice and learning ukulele right now even though I thought about learning ukulele for the first time when I was 13 years old. That's half of my life! And it's so much fun! Imagine how much more rich your life can be when you let nothing stop you ^^ I hope you go for it.
@@shayfromscratch oh thank you so much. But i don't know if it's not too late to start going on some dancing classes and i have one biiigg problem. I am itrovert. But it's not my fault... my classmates did that.... they were doing fun of my older sister so i argued with them anddd...... after that nobody want to be friend with me (in my class). And also i am friend with one let's call her outsider, everyone judge her and i didn't so they automaticly think i am outsider too. And i can't imagine to dance in group. Because now i don't know how to talk to new people and i'm so scared, they would judge me for how i look etc...
@@gabrielakrivosudska2288 It's definitely not too late! I'm watching some follow up videos that the girl in this video (Grace) did and apparently she was 15 at the start of this video/when she started dancing. Research some dance classes in your area, and if you can't find anything for beginners at your age (though, I think you will) check out Grace's videos about how she learned on her own and try to follow her advice! As for being an introvert, I'm sorry that your classmates have made you feel that way. Good for you for standing up for your sister, though. I know it's hard when you're always surrounded by these classmates, but try not to let them have too much control over you and your life - they don't deserve it. There will come a time when most of them aren't even in your life anymore, and as new people come into your life, your classmates opinions will become less important to you. Joining dance might even be a good way to meet new friends outside of school, and that would probably help your confidence! I personally always find meeting new people awkward. I think a dance class would be less awkward because you don't have to talk to people most of the time - you'll be too busy dancing! But you will still get familiar with the people in your dance class, so if you want to talk to them before or after you will already feel a bit like you know them. "Just don't worry about it" isn't very useful advice, I know. Instead, I think it's okay to worry about it, but don't let it stop you. I know it isn't much from a stranger on the internet, but I'm rooting for you!
Yasss! For dancers who are just starting...RECORD YOURSELF! You don’t have to post or share it if you do not want to but it’s good to watch yourself improve. It can be so encouraging and help your refine your technique and skills. It can be super hard to push yourself and video when you are not yet comfortable but it’s so worth it. And this is awesome! It’s like watching a completely different dancer and I can’t wait to watch you to continue to grow! Dancing is for everybody and we all have to begin somewhere. People who want to try but are too scared.. please go for it! You will never improve if you don’t try. Get involved in an encouraging atmosphere and watch yourself blossom 💜
I appreciate your encouraging message. Perhaps the world would be a better place if everyone would just dance. It's been a few years but I've recently started dancing again. Recording myself is the only way to truly see what I'm doing. It isn't possible to immerse yourself into your dance if you're trying to watch yourself in the mirror. Sometimes we see what we want to see in that moment in the mirror but the camera captures the truth. It's such a valuable tool.

Ok the “i ain’t your mama” dance ... sis is a jazz dancer period
aww🥺 yes i’m sooo obsessed w that style
as a girl who’s been dancing for 10+ yrs the only problem was musicality and just like awkwardness, as the video went by it’s obvious you kept getting more comfortable and one thing that helped A LOT was that you were always very full out. YOU GO SIS
Monse Reynoso I don’t dance so I might be wrong but I also noticed some timing issues and as you said just general stiffness which is expected but this was very cool and an interesting video :D
yeah fr. shes pretty good considering she taught herself. ive been dancing for around 8 years and im still quite awkward for some styles but she was so open to it and full out and confident and thats whats so good abt her
Monse I was also thinking about that and sometimes her movement just felt rushed and that was making it messy
I was about to comment this too 😂. But i’ve been dancing for 16 years too and another problem was the control.
I agree. I've been a dancer since I was 6 and she still is like a little stiff and she needs to loosen up and just let her body like flow but she was good
I tried to dance like that at 4 am and now i am laying on the ground while crying because i broke my back.

Dancing can have a positive effect on your body! I started dancing when I was 7, it helped me keep my back up straight, shoulders up, a good posture. It formed curves in my body, and some more. Her body really improved, which I really liked to watch! Not just her dance improvement, but also the physical effects it has

Same😅
Same here
Matt Steffanina is a good person to learn from, with being shy if you have enough space to dance in your room and can close the door then that is usually a good start to build up confidence. Go for i'm sure you'll be great :)
The most important thing to become a really good dancer is self-confidence. in your first step you are shy and stiff, my tip is: just move to the music don't worry about a choreo but try to find a rhythm first
The other day I was doing a whole face of fantasy makeup (my whole face was pink, even my brows) and I forgot to luck my room😅 my mom came in and ask me what I was doing (I always remove my makeup before anyone in my fam can see it) I just said to my mom I was having fun for a little, she just said that’s great, smiled and left my room

Can i start dance even when i'm in few months 15 years old? 😞
I know it isn't much from a stranger on the internet, but I'm rooting for you!
honestly when she began she wasn’t that bad and that’s on me, a bad dancer-
maybe she was dencing before she starts recording it

Diana S she did traditional dance and ballet for a few years and self taught hip hop when she was 15
Thought shorty was just gonna start off with a little side to side 1 2 step lol
