Vinny gave them a previously unreleased version to do. They were given one week to learn it and make a video as it was all being done virtually because of the pandemic. They hit a home run.

Welcome to Liliac! They are the children of Romanian born parents that emigrated to the States as children and met eachother in High School and gave birth to a band. SAM guitar is 23 now, ABIGAIL drums is 22, MeloDia vocals is 20, Ethan on bass just turned 16 and Justin on Keys is 14. They busked at an early age on the Santa Monica for 5 years. Look up Crazy Train for Santa Monica footage. Then they was on the World's Best show on CBS. This is where I first heard them doing Rainbow in the Dark. They then came out with their first EP Chain of Thorns and their father was able to book their first tour in 2019. Look up Mars live for a live performance from that tour. Then in 2020 they came our with their Queen of Hearts album 13 all original. They have been touring once in 2020 or 2021. And been on tour a lot this year. Not Afraid is their Stage version while on tour. It's from their first EP Chain of Thorns. MeloDia found DIO at 15 yrs old and he is her main inspiration. Not Afraid is one of their originals. Rock music and I go back to 1969 when my first concert at 14 was Iron Butterfly. So that gives you an idea of where I was at with this genre. lol I was introduced to Liliac 3 years ago with Enter Sandman on my FB feed and they blew me away. In July I finally got to see them for the first time and when they opened with this song, I felt I was 14 again listening to a rock band that blew my hair back and left me completely speechless by the end of their show. Sam the lead guitar is my new fave after having the same one (Matthias Jabs of Scorpions, who is also a friend of mine) for years, Aby is headed for Drum Mag's Female Drummer Of The Year in my opinion. And Ethan, is 16 and he is a killer bass player on his 5 string. Little man Justin, will one day have his time to shine and no words for MeloDia, since as a singer myself, she makes me tear up with her vocals. A while back I came up with my own description and that is she has a voice that is "crushed diamonds on velvet". Don't sell these kids short, coming from an old rawker chick who has not only listened to rock music from way back, but I have been part a part of the industry in different capacities and feel I have the right to say these kids are going to start slaying the rock community one day soon. Their motto is "Rock On and Rock Hard" given to them by Stewart Copeland (Police) when he first saw them on the Santa Monica Pier when they were busking back in 2018.
