Why do I get the feeling Abby hasn't seen Star Wars The Force Awakens? If anything it should be the character of Rey Brynn should be portraying not Leia.

When I saw the episode and Abby said she was doing a Star Wars The Force Awakens dance I thought this could be good which it was. But when she said the character she was portraying I kept thinking Leia didn't do too much in the movie. If it was a different title it would have made sense.

Honestly I don't consider this an acro solo. It's contemporary with a few acro tricks. I would never enter my students in acro with a dance like this (I didn't see the episode yet but everyone's saying it's acro?)

I think Brynn's technique is amazing, but this solo? No.The solo was boring, it didnt really have any energy to it. The music didn't go well with the dancing, (ex: music-exciting, energetic/ solo-not much energy).

Jessica exactly! She did the same thing to Maddie with the Bond girl routine but that was the opposite. The choreography was good but the music was trash

Brynn could have done this solo at age 8, if you go watch steppin'out at age 8, you could see that solo was more difficult.
The saddest thing though is, Brynn is an amazing dancer,one of the best dancers get such horrible choreography, that does not do her justice, adults jealous of her (jill,jess and melissa,). Brynn and kalani wasted a dance season, they could have got beautiful solo's at P21, but instead brynn got an easy dance with terrible choreo and so did Kalani.
This was the perfect dance for Brynn , it shows off all of her best tricks and it's a character piece she did an excellent job

This is my favourite solo that Brynn does.
i think this solo is pretty underrated. is a good solo in overall. her technic is super amazing and her flexibility is super good, maybe not the best choreo but is a great solo.

@@Sara-bw8xi are you seious? this choreography is HORRIBLE compared to what brynn got at club dance. she could've done this solo when she was 7. and dancer shines MUCH more with good choreography that shows off their skill and capability. this didn't do that for brynn at all.

I enjoyed this solo. My only problem is that I know Brynn could have done this at age 8 in her sleep. She’s capable of SO MUCH more and it’s upsetting to look back on this and see just much the show held her back.

Aldc is bringing Brynn down as a dancer she is so much more than acro tbh I love Brynn and would miss her off of the show but she would actually live up to her achievements back at arizona

CHOREOGRAPHY IS SO STALE which in turn makes Brynn look unexperienced and dulls her sparkle. Brynn is exceptional but I would be embarrassed to be the teacher who put this on stage.

Could watch her dance for hours and hours she is so breathtaking even with dare I say "Abby's pretty bad choreography" she still makes it look beautiful. She has amazing flexibility and control. She WILL make it big!

Brynn was so beautiful. No one on the ALDC (except Kalani) could do this solo so perfectly.
I thought this solo was very well done and definitely deserved to win. It catered to Brynn's strong suits and was complicated enough to be interesting but not so complicated that it was hard to focus. So glad Brynn is holding her own!

I think this was a beautiful solo. I know it doesn't showcase Brynn's full potential but it was still lovely to watch because it was almost constantly clean and precise.

Most boring choreography I've ever seen! Horrible but well executed.
She nailed every move but not The turns... I definetely don't like her turns!
But, with a technique like this, she doesn't need to have also perfect turns😂

At her old studio Club Dance, they don't focus on turns much, more flexibility and technicality. Also she was barefoot :)
She was barefoot. That's amazing considering she has no shoes on. If you watch her old solo Violet, she nails her turns when (A) she has shoes on, and (B) she's not in an unhealthy environment.
+bleh When maddie dances with her in their duet she was barefoot as well and she turns way better! It's funny how ANYONE can say something "negative" about Brynn!
Really, I love Brynn and I think she's the best in The group, but she can't turn so good! I watched all her solos, they are amazing, but not her turns, maybe because in Club Dance they focuse more in flexibility and control rather than turns and tricks! But people has to be realistic: she's better than all of them in terms of flexibility and control, but not about turns!
+Michela A Because Maddie can do more turns than Brynn can. Maddie's speciality are her turns and her faces. Brynn's are her flexibility, control, technique and lines.

but of course abby's going to do this. She takes one of the top dancers in the country, gives them a crappy routine, gives her turns when she doesn't have shoes whereas all of her other solos that she's done with shoes had no turns, and creates this. what? Cant blame the dance moms stans because if i wasn't a dancer, judging off of this I would say that she's not that great. But because i am a dancer and have followed brynn's dancing for four years, I know that this is nothing compared to what she's used too. Ashlee, wake up!! Get your amazing kid out of there!!

I'm playing my spotify playlist while watching this video on loop and the choreography matches with *_every_* song even if the next song starts in the middle of the dance or the dance starts in the middle of the song. My playlist has artists like PTX, Melanie Martinez, Troye Sivan, Halsey, Oh Wonder, Ariana Grande, etc.
The hair was a nice touch to the theme.

I love Star Wars, I love dance, and seeing Brynn dance is amazing. But if you are going to do a tribute dance to something, you should have little details in the choreography that would draw you back to the theme, just having the music be a similar arrangement shouldn't be the only thing "Star Wars". Amazing dance but I didn't think it should've been Star Wars themed
Might I add that she is portraying the wrong female protagonist. It's a Force Awaken's dance, Leia is in it but she should be portraying Rei

@Jane Joe maddie can never win with acro musical theatre jazz hip hop all she can win with is lyrical!! A dancer should be able to win with any style of dance for example brynn!! Back at club dance she could do any style and win! But abby gave brynn horrible choreography that she could've done at 8 or 9!!

Kendall is so blow Brynn's dance abilities that it's just sad. Her lack of flexibility and technique is showing in group numbers because the rest of the team has improved their technique but Kendall has stayed the same for nearly two seasons..
I think kalani would have done incredible in this solo! She would have fit the character so much better, and she would have done it better

The dance was good but she's not really what she described Leia to be. She's not tough or fierce or anything like that. She's beautiful but it doesn't have really much energy.
krissyyy I wasn't talking about the tempo, which really wasn't even that slow to be honest. She could've kind of added accents into her movement or just done them stronger. And she could've made a big difference with just her face.
I am really proud of Brynn I feel like that is her best solo yet her flexibility was incredible her technique was mind blowing and her facial expression were really good this time so good on you Brynn I loved it !!😊😍
