This song tells me they often see the big picture. A normal thing like moving apartments resulted in a song that parallels their movement through the industry. They have a way of connecting things beautifully.
I love their lyrics - you know they are personal and show how they felt moving on to new place, new songs, and everything else. Such a cool song. That’s why we love BTS - they make you feel their lyrics, so personal💜
Another great reaction. I want to thank you for respecting the boys, but also ARMY. Some of the newer reactors to BTS have been extremely nasty about getting suggestions from ARMY. I can positively state that none of the comments were toxic, just suggestions for a better understanding (such as to turn on the English subtitles or to react to an Explained video). Just as reactors should never feel attacked, the fanbase should not be attacked when they make polite suggestions. You have never done that and I want to thank you.
Such a sentimental song. The lived in that tiny dorm for so long and it wasn’t till 2015 success that they had money to move. But it wasn’t instant excitement but a beautiful song about appreciating the tiny dorm brought them together but how to move on. It’s a song that feels real and relatable.
A great vibey R&B song that is very personal. This song came out in 2015 and describes the move from their first tiny dorm to a better place . I know a bigger place symbolizes success to many & they were happy they made it 3 yrs since debut which is very hard in kpop, many groups don't make it their first year some not even the first 100 days. I think many forget tho that this song came out on the same album as I Need U (& Dope) which was the song that became a big hit for them so Moving On was written before then. Suga even talked about he feared that The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt. 1 was gonna be their last album if things didn't go well with the album. So they still had many worries but they were trying hard to succeed. Every time I hear Namjoon start "A yo Suga" and launches into his verse I get very nostalgic with them. I didn't find them and become army until 2018 but I remember going back watching their bangtan bombs (on Bangtan Subs channel, they add a lot of cultural context for i-army) from the beginning along with their youtube pre-debut logs. I don't think many new army know that bangtan bombs just started with very very short clips with the members sometimes even turning cameras on filming, they didn't have Eng Subs so we had lovely k-army like Bangtan Subs translate for us. Baby Bangtan were very hilariously chaotic lol But you could see their determination. I love a lot of their B-sides like this Rain and Love Is Not Over full version etc.
that is so cool to see how they use this song to express these feelings, I couldn't even imagine the feeling of whether or not things working out and the feeling of disbandment happening at any moment being possible
Since I started listening to BTS, I was amazed by the fact that they have always been talking about important, serious matter from the very start of their careers. Their lyrics have been relevant from the very first album to their most recent work, you can shelter in their music no matter your age. I'm yet to meet an artist whose lyrics beginning in teenage years to being in their 30's speak the same and everyone can conect to, like BTS has done
agreed! honestly, even now. that has been one of my biggest draws, I would say for me, the personal touch of the lyrics, teaching self love and positivity, trying to be good role models then also I'd have to say being authentic
@@Killdeer25 and also one of the most diffucult topics to talk about like self-harm, depression or mental health, are being express in a sincere yet hopeful manner, like it's ok to go through difficult times as well
This song seems like a typical b-side but I don’t see it like that. The move from their old apartment that was quite small to a bigger place was a symbol of their success, that they weren’t rookies any longer and more was expected of them now more than ever. The new place was indicative of more pressure to go higher, and that they’d out grown the old place both materially and mentally. The move was an embracing of changes and not hanging on to emotions (like their fights) but being brave enough to move forward into their future.
This is an old song, but what do you think about it, it’s very obvious they write their songs as they are very specific to the details of their experience/memories. Other than it being a B-side, it would be weird if an idol group or some other artist were to cover this lol
This song reminds me of the song "Fly To My Room" (sung by V, Jimin, Jhope & Suga).. It has a similar vibes in general (my opinion).. Maybe you can react to it too 😊

Agreed! It's so awesome how they keep those things cognitive for more songs

Agreed! To this day that isone of their strongest attributes

I appreciate it! The thing I noticed is that ARMY wishes to present BTS in the best light. And you have all been more that welcoming to me!

I am sure there is so much they learned in that dorm, they probably still had some sweet memories, regardless of the struggles between

Oh that's so cool! I love that! What a cool way to celebrate

Yeah, it's almost journalistic in nature, a way to document each era in their own mind
this is a very personal old song for them .
indeed! its my ability to see into the past!

I very much could!
