Can you discuss appropriate ways to address inappropriate behaviors from clients?
If clients intentionally leave a mess to spite/test cleaners, or have inappropriate remarks to your employees? In the past I’ve seen customers leave soiled hygiene products on the floor, or cover counters with dirty dishes to prove a point.
What recourses and boundaries can be set in place to protect the company and employees against adverse behaviors? Thank you.
It's important to ensure a safe and respectful environment for your employees, which sometimes means having to remove a difficult client. Setting clear boundaries, such as warning clients about inappropriate behavior and outlining consequences for repeated issues, can help manage these situations. In extreme cases, terminating the service agreement might be necessary to protect your staff and maintain a professional atmosphere.
You CA dudes are weird. Potential complaints keep up at night :D Though you're right complaints are opportunities for up selling :)
Nobody likes complaints, we gotta do our best to avoid them. But we also have to learn from them when they arrive 🙏
