I think the fact that Jake's skeptical makes him such a valuable asset to the squad. Like you NEED someone playing devil's advocate (sorry no pun intended lol) in order to dig deep enough to get that solid proof. Plus, it makes me trust Jake's reaction to stuff more because since he's such a logical thinker if he's scared that makes me scared. I'm not saying the rest of you in the squad needs to think like Jake, but I just really actually appreciate his skepticism.

I could hear it with my headphones on. You have to be wearing headphones and you also have to be listening quietly. I had to press down my headphones as close as I could to my ears and I heard the sounds. The first and second sound was a thud and the third one was a creak. (Which is why Jake said it's an old building and that might've just been it.)

Jake being skeptical is important. You guys freak out so easily, you hear/see something and never think about it. Our brains play tricks on us all the time, especially in the dark or if you’re paranoid. Jake is always trying to calm y’all down. How are you guys going to learn anything if you keep running away??

Jake had always been skeptic about the ghost stuff, but he’s been going along with it most of the time. This is actually like the most we’ve heard from him and his opinion towards everything Sam and Colby are doing, like I don’t know their conversations outside of the videos but Jake never really expressed himself and in this video, he like spoke out why he’s skeptic and how he wants to go about communicating with the ghosts or something like that

It really helps having jake there, because he stays level headed throughout the chaos and not take every little thing as paranormal. The point is to find evidence and for Corey to figure out what it wants w/him not to convert Jake into believing again. It’s not that he doesn’t believe in general He just probably needs more concrete evidence to fully believe the encounters that you all come across.

Over 6,000 people died in the hotel because it used to be a hospital back in the 1900's and what not. Just go explore yourself and experience it, sorry for the paragraph

I think Jake has a big point. I think instead of just jumping into “I heard a sound, it’s a ghost”, they need to think objectively. Yes, Corey probably saw the shadow man. But also, we need to keep in mind that at that moment Colby had a light on Sam pointed in the same direction so it could’ve been Sam’s shadow on the window. I think they should be actively trying to debunk as well as hunting/investigating

It's not about "believing" more or less than someone else. I'm a FIRM believer in the supernatural and in spirits, but I think logically and realistically enough to know that not every tiny noise is to blame for the paranormal. It isn't their problem whether they believe too much or too little, it's that Corey, Sam, and Colby don't want to rationalize anything out, while Jake does. And I'm on board with Jake. I'm a paranormal investigator myself, and I know that while you have to have an open mind, you can't be running around screaming your head off at a creaking noise that could DEFINITELY have been the wind. Know what I mean?
Jake was so respectful when telling them that he didnt really believe, and he needed more solid evidence. Because bumps and creaks can be disproved. If you guys are serious about proving it and finding it, then you shouldn't be upset. Because that's what he is wanting too. Solid, indisputable evidence.

I’m with Jake. All of them are getting defensive over the fact that he is skeptic but honestly sounds are all the proof they have. Part of me is glad that he doesn’t get scared easily and that he doesn’t believe every sound is a “ghost” because he is less likely to get one attached to him . The other guys are just feeding fear into these spirits and that’s why they are always experiencing paranormal stuff.

I agree with Jake. You need to stay around and investigate the sounds. You all get scared and then run away, or not end the seance properly. If it is the spirits making the sounds, it usually doesn’t mean anything bad, they are making you aware of their presence, but if you hear three taps in a row, it’s a bad spirit and you should more than likely leave. You all need to research on the paranormal because the devices you use don’t always work. The reason spirits are getting attached to you, is because you aren’t ending things, and you always assume that it’s a “demon” or “bad” spirit, but it could just be a poltergeist, a poltergeist like to go around you house and make noises, they are mischievous and like to pull pranks. When you describe the things in you heard in the trap house, it didn’t sound much like a demon to me. I myself have been seeing spirits and such since I was a kid, and I have done a lot of research on it. These videos often seem to be scripted, because you never get close enough to see what you guys saw, or you never investigate what the sound was. You need to learn what to stay away from and what is ok to use. I have seen something similar to Corey, it was a shadow that I always see and has been following me for ages. But the first time I saw him I immediately ran away, and that did nothing, when I stayed to try and figure out what it wanted, it became someone who would look out for me, and in a way became my friend. I never call upon him or boss him around unless he does something that isn’t ok with me. You need to remember that you are always in control of the seance and you can tell the spirits what you are going to allow them to do, like you can say that you are not allowing them to touch or enter your body in any way. Anyway, I want you all to be safe, but you just need to research xx

Jake was right, you should’ve checked it out when Corey saw a shadow instead of running to the elevator. Look, if you’re ghost hunting, and y’all hear, see or encounter anything, don’t run from it. It’s not ghost “hunting” if you’re not hunting for them. I agree with Jake on this one, you guys should check out every little thing you encounter but not freak out when you do encounter it bc you technically asked for the ghosts’ presence. And idk why y’all would lowkey come after him for telling his thoughts, he just needs concrete proof from him experiencing these ghostly encounters. I agree, however, I would have done the same thing (run away). Not because I'd be scared that it was a ghost, but in my mind the fact the curtain was moving and Corey saw a shadow would have registered to me as there's a real person in there. It sounds irrational, but people are wicked and my mind would constantly be screaming there's some crazy guy in that room with me even if I could assume and say there isn't (I'm sure there's security measures in place, but the fact there was that guy standing outside their room also is why I would have hauled ass out of there the moment Sam noted the curtain was moving). I just hope they don't get hurt trying to delve deeper into stuff.

It’s true, and I would be just as upset. Lol I already get upset watching it from a screen. Seeing them run away after the slightest thing rather than staying and checking it out some more. It’s very annoying, and jake isn’t wrong about the EMF meter. It picks up electrical magnetic fields, there’s wiring behind every wall in every building we enter.
They should also keep their cameras rolling so they don't miss anything crazy that happens

Jake always ends up being the voice of reason lol, what he says is true though. I feel that they get too riled up when something they think is paranormal happens, and don't really investigate it further, which is why I think Jake feels the way he does. You can still be a believer, but approach things with skepticism. That way it's easier for them to prove to others and themselves that it was actually paranormal.. Idk just my thouughts, and tbh I love their reactions ahahaha love these bois

As a piano player and music historian, I would have to disagree with Jake on the piano. The fact that it went off (and you can hear it) means a significant amount of force needs to be placed on the key for the hammer to strike the harp. Even if you press a key down halfway, it won't make a sound. Also, low tones are quiet. So even more force would be needed to get the volume we heard. The piano alone would've been enough to convince me.

Colby: *usually camera guy so follows them out not as scared but still shook
Jake:"guys calm down" "lets check it out" *never wants to leave but is almost forced to whenever they all freak out which is all the time.
What angers me about this is Jake always tries to stop the guys but it never works, he seems incredibly annoyed whenever they find something and they want to leave. I feel for Jake and i wish everyone else knew how to calm down and relax like him under those "scary" situations. Jake just needs that one moment to solidify if he believes in the paranormal or not . Jake never change who you are.

Tre Pennington I completely agree, every time something happens after they ask for a response they freak out. They end up leaving leaving us clueless. I want them to actually sit down and be relaxed and calm and try to have a genuine conversation with the spirit waiting for a consistent response whether it be through knocks or noises kind of like Queen Mary. They need to quit freaking the fuck out and genuinely ghost hunt because at this rate every series is just a different setting a different story but the same fucking response from them freaking out and asking what the hell just happened. Now, I love Sam and Colby and I love their videos but it really disappoints me with their content when they do shit like that because they are so much better.

Also it doesn't have to mean it wants to harm them just because there is a bang or something. Think about it your a ghost on the other side you can't talk and cant touch anything, emotions give Energie too right ? And what's the easiest emotion to get? Anger and frustration. So they try to communicate get angry or frustrated cause they cant and that shit is moving and working and while maybe the ghost is happy they could communicate they run away like baby's. I think when they would stay they could really get something insane.

I actually don't agree with this at all. the 3 of them hear the slightest sound and jump up and run out of the room, which is such a cop out of they want these videos to be legit. I don't think Jake's sitting there cluelessly, I think he's trying to figure out why they're running out of the room instead of investigating. such small things turn into complete chaos and Jake just wants to remain calm and probably investigate it

Jake was saying he just wishes there was 100% undeniable proof, and he didnt mean that you guys havent been through crazy things before. He's just wants something that truly has no chance of being explained away but also wants that isnt JUST unexplainable. Like, a cup falling by itself IS unexplainable but it doesnt mean anything. He wants real, hardcore evidence. That's what every skeptic wants but who knows if the afterlife is even capable of giving that type of evidence. I absolutely understand where Jake was coming from and he's totally right , the gadgets are sensitive and the constant same reactions to every little noise does get old. We want deeper stuff. Not just gasping , freaking out, and leaving. If you want to do paranormal investigate you have to actually do it and not leave once you get something. I love everyone of those guys and support them 1000% I want them to stay safe but I also want them to actually investigate.

Theory:
What if, since Corey is always with you, the shadow man is also always with you. In all the places you’ve been, you’ve been talking/interacting with the shadow man instead of the apparent ‘ghost’ that haunts the place. I don’t know how it works but what if the shadow man is low key super smart and whenever it hears you talking about people who’ve died in the place it tries to copy exactly what you guys say and tries to trick you guys into thinking it’s the ghosts and not the shadow man. Maybe that’s why wherever Corey goes he sees the shadow man since there isn’t any ghosts but just the shadow man.

In the video they talk about Zozo and I think Zozo can only be contacted by ouija boards? So what if this shadow man is Zozo, I heard Zozo can pretend to be a dead relative of the person using the ouija board so what if all this time it’s been Zozo all along that’s why there was thuds after Sam said his name.
Also, in the beginning Jake said he felt that the place was creepy but throughout the video he kept on getting hurt. He bit his lip in-front of the vortex and was bleeding, he hit his head on the wall which was clearly in his vision right next to where they found the teeth and heard the thuds, then at the end he says he doesn’t believe that they found solid evidence when the piano clearly played a key by itself. At 11:18 Jake looks up at the ceiling and not even 5 seconds after, there’s a thud which reminds me of when they first went to the hotel, his eyes literally glowed red and he looked up then all the candles blew out. Maybe it’s not just Corey that’s being affected but also slowly the rest of the group.
There also could be the possibility of when Corey tries to get rid of the shadow man, it could end up worse. Recently, his stove was turned on by itself and could have possibly harmed him or even killed. What if in the process of talking/ getting rid of the ‘shadow man’ it gets even worse. Hopefully this is not the case and they can end things peacefully.

Jake is a godsend this episode. He’s done with the gadgets, he’s done with the famous places with potential parlor tricks, and I’m getting tired of it too. The most solid evidence was when you guys tried communicating at the Queen Mary ship. You asked Y/N questions and got Clear answers back.

I agree with that but I think we should also remember the first Biltmore hotel in LA. That seance they did was definitely a lot of proof and I remember even Jake was freaked out. But most of these other places tend to pride themselves in being haunted because it’s more income for them and more tourists. I definitely think they need to actually investigate more on what they do hear and see. Even if it is scary, if they want the proof they keep saying they want they are gonna have to push past that fear at some point and really figure out if it’s a literal shadow in the corner or their eyes playing tricks on them and things like that
