Hey Nick....need to get your thoughts.....I will be attending a womens tea and thought to make this but a cake instead of cupcakes...the tea is going to be internat'l theme and thought this would be fitting since it is french inspired...so my question to you....would you suggest using the puff pasty in between the layers of cake or should I omit it...would it get soggy, you think? Your thoughts on the best buttercream to use...Amer, Italian,Swiss?....Thanks in advance....love your channel. I have made a few of your cupcake recipes.....DEVINE!!!!!!!

when did you add the gelatin? did I miss this part or didn't you show putting it in? also: would it work without the gelatin using some more starch to make it more pudding like and to thicken it or wouldn't it be stable enough?(vegetarian hopes are up :D)
Nick, help! I followed your recipe and guideline but my cupcake failed, it looks beautiful and golden on the outside but the texture inside is like an uncooked-cake, like a failed brownies. I have a fan oven and I pre-heated it on 160C. So Idk where it went wrong.
