Sex is neither helpful neither a obstacle in liberation, it's just a physical need such as drinking water but do we emphasis on drinking water that much, we emphasis on sex because we ourselves are very much attached to it, weare biologically programmed to have procreation it's just that, we should realise how much time we are wasting towards sex.

I have read and seen that Acharya ji has highest regards for Osho and JK both.
In one of Quora responses he has called Osho as brightest starts in the spiritual world. You might need to check that link. I had tears in my eyes when I read this.

But you need to also consider that Acharya ji is commited to the Truth first. In the path of Truth, if he has to go against JK or Osho on some point then be it, he will not shy away from it, that is what you see in this video.

Sex is the body's concern, not yours. But you start talking a lot about sex when you become the body.
Sex is just that which carries forward Prakriti's game of procreation.
When you are fully occupied with your legitimate concern, which is liberation, then thoughts of sex and such things do not bug you too much.
Sex becomes a great issue for you only when you say, I am going to have sex, and sex is going to satisfy me. That you can say only when you are a truthless wanderer.
When you have something really important in front of you, do you still remember sex?
When you have nothing to do, sex is a great way to fill up your time. Sex is nothing but a killer of your precious time.
Sex strikes exactly when you have energy. It is an energy stealer, not merely a time killer. It is a big thief of your energy.
You are hardwired to produce kids. That is the agenda of the body - produce kids. But always remember that is not your agenda.
What else can you serve to a sex-obsessed mind, if he is to be brought close to the Guru?
