Years ago, over twenty actually I was in a store on Oxford street. I accidentally misjudged where the queue ended and I pushed in in front of Dave. When someone else started remonstrating with me, Dave saw I was heavily pregnant and said, you stay there treacle. He stopped all the Aggro with a smile.

His book about the rave scene was absolutely brilliant highly recommend. Yeah his first book was awesome but raving loonacy was my favorite book

This chap started out at 15 boosting cars and fighting to the death. In America we call that Grand Theft and child abuse. I feel sorry for this nice, tormented man. He is 100% correct about losing a fight or life struggle and coming back better and stronger. Not to ever give up even when you lose. That is why he was successful at whatever he touched. If you can take a loss in life and learn something, you're always going to do better the next time.

He's even been on the documentary series 'Faces of the Underworld', admitting that he made most of it up, being encouraged by his publisher, for book sales.

To what degree is any gangster not a bullshitter. I think your question is naive. Has Dave Courtney gotten up to criminal activities, shot people, robbed and more. Absolutely. To what extent has he done those things? Only he and his close friends and the cops really know. He has big fucking balls and makes us laugh. I like him. I wouldn't like to've come up against him either not then not now.

Followed dave Courtney since the late nineties from stop the ride. Top fella fantastic way he tells his experiences over the years I personally don't laugh or smile of recent but Mr Courtney always makes me laugh. Laughing and smiling makes you feel better, which he does. I'm no hard man or gangster but I enjoy listening to this man.respect from Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Dave Courtney admitted several years ago on a gang programme that he wasn't a gangster he played up too the part for a book and TV series and he regrets it now for the trouble its caused him and his family

Yeah Fraser was just as bad with the bullshit, I read one of Courtney's books years back and thinking some of this sounds like a script for an action movie, I kind of lost interest in him after that, I'm not saying he hasn't been involved in naughty stuff but when so much seems fabricated and exaggerated it ceases to be interesting to me
