So westbrook has a very high IQ, he is just not very efficient in his shooting and i think don’t handle the pressure, but his IQ is very high believe me, making 24assists in 1 game is only somthing guys like Magic, Nash, Oscar, Doncic, Lebron can do, even Lebron record is « only » 19 assists and he is considered one of the best playmaker ever ...

This combined with a high usage rate is the prime reason why his stats don’t translate to meaningful wins.
Give Russ props. He changed his game to fit the Wizards. He isn't the ballhog who gets frustrated and tries to shoot his way out shooting slumps like he was before. Now Russ has evolved to PG his team needs. That's maturity into a team captain. He has pumped up the energy of the Wizards.
So many dudes I put ahead of russ. he has gifts, but there is more to being an NBA player than that. Steph, Stockton, Nash, Isiah,
CP3
@@williammurphy6428 Russ is better than CP3
@@ishsells165 you a troll right 😂
Russ def a top 7-8 point guard all time
Kidd
If you want to talk about numbers, talk about also his TO, +|-, poorly %FG, %3Pts, %FT... the stat sheet is not only made by three columns...
Compared to guys like Isiah and AI...it’s not much different.
I remember in 2012 on 1st and 10 Skip talking about Russ being the one trying to be the hero in the game or the final shot. He's always been right!!!
I have Magic, Nash, Stockton, Isiah, CP3, Curry before Russ. Guy can't simply can't win. Nash, CP3 (he still doing it) and Stockton could orchestrate an offense on levels Russ can simply dream about. Idc about his rebounding or the 20 points he got by going 7-20 from the field.
Speaking facts
All the PG’s that were mentioned that they would pick over Westbrook had a different level of talent around them. Rondo had KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce and then he had Lebron and AD. Magic had a squad, Isaiah had a Squad, Curry had a Squad... Russ is built different point blank! Put some respect on his name!!!
Westbrook on rockets w harden, ock w Durant . Chill out Westbrook has never played well in playoffs . Shoots 40 percent from feild in playoffs, that’s greatness? Great regular season player
He's not even close to any of those guys lol
Skip is drinking I'll take Russ over Rondo and alot of other PGs
@@slasher5871 Skip is always drinking lol
I can’t even put him above Stevie nash but he’s on my top 10 of all time pg
Nooooo I love nash as a shooter but I'll take russ
@@desmondhoward6253 nash took the 29 win Phoenix suns to 62 wins the first year he got there. When has Russ had an impact on winning like that?
@@gnielsen07 When he dragged a god awful thunder squad that directly contradicted his playstyle to a near 50 win season whilst taking home the MVP? When he and KD surged a young thunder team to their first finals appearance since Gary Payton, Shaun Kemp and the Sonics?
I dont understand why no one talk about jason kid when they talk about best point guard to play in nba , jason kid was a beast , took new jersey with no super stars to the finals and came close
Facts j kid
@@kallpakk no they weren't at all 😂😂😂 the only star was Jason Kidd
Everyone mentions KD leaving Russ in OKC but nobody mentions KD leaving Steph & the Warriors
because ... draymond lol he didn't leave anything, he went to harden and kyrie to play with a TEAM that gets it just because steph benefits from shenanigans, doesn't mean he wants them around
Lol the two situations have no equivalency whatsoever
Thanks Shannon! Totally agreed with you!
CP3 Point God Goat
Lies he didn’t do nun in his life
@@mr.chiraq you don’t have anything better to do than speak ignorance ?
The floor general! 💯
Exactly
CP3 has won wayyy less playoff games than russ never been to the finals, never won an mvp. Hasn’t averaged over 20 since 2009💀💀 tf are you on????
No way this is an take
Random, yo so I just checked the standings right now and if the playoffs started today, the first round would be super lit. Phx vs GS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rather than have a segment on his historic night and potentially averaging a triple double AGAIN...Let's give our opinion on what Brooks said 🤦🏽♂️. Great job media.
crazy how scoring matters in this convo... but it’s all around when it comes to Lebron
The man is top 3 all time in scoring
The difference is lebron brings his team wins and don’t act like lebron doesn’t always give 30+ in serious games 😂
You mean the player who is 6th in ppg ever? Yea he overrated
I mean true but lebron is bigger and ad and bron is bigger than Beal and Westbrook, plus the lakers are trash right now
Russell is very underrated and under appreciated. Not just going by stats but he’s going to give you more than any player in the league. He’s the best defending pg in the league and unlike all of the other pgs he’s gonna give you more than just points. If you wanna say Russ can’t shoot just look at Luka, Giannis, Lebron, and Jimmy. Im not saying that Russ is the best in the league, I’m just saying stop hating on Russ and appreciate his greatness. We love you Russ!
OMFG the Kawhi Laugh LMFAO 12:06
20 years from now everybody will look back in be in awe of Westbrook’s career
Nah not with Luka's numbers
Agreed
Russell westbrook came to a point where he is now look at how he performs in post season.. not how he put up much stats.. Thats how superstars shine
Russ is one of a kind, and no other pg can get the triple doubles like this man. But he's in a level below both Dame and Kyrie, and two levels below Curry.
???????
Explain how he’s not better than Kyire and Dame
@@thomasseigle6429 have you watched him in the playoffs? Beaten by a rookie, Dame waved him off and last year was embarrassing against Bron
Well the series before that was Portland and Dame played worse when Russ played bad against bron🤔Dame also chocked to a 6th seed pelicans without the best center at the time Boogie....and they got swept by em smh then gets swept by Golden the one time he actually made it to the 3rd round🤦🏿when it comes to playoff games Dame is worse
Idk I remember Russ guarding Curry but Thompson guarding Russ and not curry 🤔🤔
This is such a dumb argument.. so Kyrie is better than steph too?
Not like Klay was the best two-way player at the time
Doesn’t matter. Neither Curry or Russ can stop each other
I’m not saying Westbrook can stop or even slow down Curry, but no one can. The point was he was off guarding the corner/Roberson doing nothing. 100% offense energy and could you imagine chasing Curry all day? One of the greatest off ball movers EVER,
@@Dacoldest23 I mean that's smart why waste currys energy guarding russ when you can just guard Roberson
it’s offensive that this is even a question
If Russ won a ring he'd be a top 10-15 player going off pure numbers.
No he wouldn’t bro there’s more to the game than just numbers. I swear whenever a player starts playing good the media hype gets crazy. This is such an outlandish comment 😂
You don't need a ring to be consider at top 20 player of all time. Many hall of famers don't have rings.
@@DiabloBiscuit I never said u had to..
