  • Have you ever wondered why a moving bike is easier to control than a stationary one? In this video, we break down the physics involved in bike stability. Due to multiple contributing factors, the stability of bikes has always been a subject of wide interest and is attributed to three main factors- gyroscopic precession, mass distribution and trail. Watch the video to find out more!

Now, my theory about bike physics is right. Now, I will start to learn how to ride a bike in my 30s. Thanks to my irresponsible father, who didn't teach me how to ride a bike. Lol

Can any one suggest a book on fluid mechanics and thermodynamics that is sort of basic ,full of applications and yet strong in the material given ???

Does the bike stay upright with only gyroscopic stability or it has something to do with momentum too? They made this wierd tredmile for bikes, the bike doesn't move forwards or backwards but it stays upright🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Even though I have ridden bikes for decades, if I take my hands off the handlebars of my MTB it is extremely hard not to fall. lol I am lucky to go a few feet. Excellent video.

How to balance heavy vehicle sir ?????

the example bike in the video looked as if it were going down hill whuch help ot maintaining balance.
also, a bike that is better balamced from the design/build state is not the only factor. It needs a human to correct for stability, it cannot do it on its own.

Intellectual property rights apply. If you HANG the front fork from the hub rather than the standard downward force method, this will change the dynamics, thank you thank you, i hope to see one in action, go to it.
