Beautiful Jonathan. When I am looking at the body of the guitar, as you are playing, I am seeing sepia clouds over a calm morning sea :) Maybe your gorgeous playing is helping this vision ? Thanks brother for a lovely start to the day x
I've had many sigmas before, but never a mahogany sigma. i wanted to buy a new one and then i saw this video and fell in love instantly. I ordered the same one yesterday and I hope I don't regret it
That's how reviews should be: music first (music, not a noise and banging), playing without any effects, without and with pickup sound, specs, personal opinions (objectively, without freakouts, in normal voice and language). Thank you for the video.
@@JonIsJustTooLoud I have played Eastman E10D and E10SS - far out. But personally (preference,”my sound”, from experience) i am into Martin and Sigma. I have an old Sigma ala D18 (not solid mahogany back and sides), my first guitar which was a gift from someone i’ve never met). I like it a lot, but the fretboard and frets are so worn out and i can only imagine how it would sound with solid woods for back and sides. Also i have a 12 string Sigma with mahogany top, maple sides and unknown great pickup - what a great combination, precious. I like that zzz and a soft bubble sound attack in Martin and Sigma. So, this been said, theoretically (videos) and practically (Sigma and Martin preference and a great experience with Eastman), i’m between Sigma SG45 and Eastman E10SS, but i’ve not played Sigma SG45. Whats your take on this? I know that its all personal and just words, but still…
Hi again Jon. In your experience how would you compare this guitar to some of the mahogany Harley Benton’s you’ve played. I’m in to minds this is a little more expensive. Thanks
Hello. First of all thanks for the great analysis you do. I saw your reviews of the Harley Benton CLD 41SE WN and the Sigma OOOM 15E Aged. I know they are different guitars and there is a difference in price so I probably understand which one is better. But I would like your opinion on the sound and playability. Which one is better or will be equated. Thanks in advance. Vitor
Hey Jon, thanks for you're great videos! little question: did you notice any difference between this Guitar (Sigma OOOM-15E-AGED) and the the Martin 000-15M STREETMASTER? Cause they make a very similar first impression, they are made in the same factory, but the price is a huge difference. Cheers
I’m not at all a relic guy Jon but there’s something very appealing about that finish. The sound is surprisingly rich and sweet as it doesn’t look that big. Maybe it’s the mahogany and the satin finish. Very interesting Jon - cheers 😄👍👍
I have a Recording King 000 size guitar. Its much like this, but when I bought it, it had a slightly dull sound to it. I set the truss rod and put light strings on it. It sounds wonderful now like this Sigma does. 000s are a fun size to play
Sigma does wonderful guitars. I will buy the regular version of the 000M 15 soon, I hope prices don't rise much for the next 2-3 months. I miss the old decal, I wish they didn't change it. Hugs from Spain :D
@@Lalairu I like Martin phosphor bronze and I usually use 12 gauge, seem to suit the very mellow 000m-15. It's so subjective though, honestly whatever you think is best, is best.
Hi Davis! Im from brazil i have a taylor 310ce, but i would like to buy a 'sigma', which i don't have in brazil. Do you think i change my taylor to sigma, or should i buy a sigma 000M-15E AGE as a second guitar? Detail: I play guitar in church, big church, sometimes smaller churches
I have a 000m15 ,not aged one. The size is a bit smaller and thinner and it is so comfortable to play with. I play it every night though I have a few optionS. Sigma has many affordable guitars which sound good. Martin which is more expensive, has the same series but of course the sound is much better.
Nice sound but i don't think it wiil stay stable in time because of no binding around to protect the sides. If we use a corner it will be some problems in the futur i think i prefer guitar with minimum a binding around the body it's better to keep a guitar a long time. Nice video as always 😉👍🙏
bought a 000M-15E-Aged 2 weeks ago and the tone of this guitar is like if angels and demons where doing it in front of your preferred God 😂 by the way , nice playing Jon
lvoe everything about it except maybe that pao ferro which is usually just too light of a shade. I'd buy a 00 12 fretter if they were in stock anywhere
Hey Jon! Is it possible to have some reviews in Harley Benton all solid acoustic guitar? The price is really attractive~Fot example:Harley Benton CLG-650SM-CE VS SolidWood

@@workaccount2415 yeah. Been playing now 10 weeks with it. Best sigma model imo. Plays like butter.

Yes there is...feels different too. I like the Martin but the Sigma is not too far behind..✌♥
They are not made in the same factory. Sigmas are made in Asia, the Martin in the USA
It says made in china😂

The new Sigma logo is ugly. I guess Martin thought the old sigma logo was a bit too "Martin". I've had a sigma 000m-15 for about 5 years and love it.
@@tobiasz6613 I bought a new Sigma and I love it haha but man the logo 😅 I think they had to change it because Sigma doesn't belong to Martin anymore.
@@tobiasz6613 Hey I forgot to ask, what kind of strings do you use? I am still trying to find out which ones sound best, any advice? thx!

Is this guitar available without the electronics? I prefer LR Baggs.

What string you were using ? Daddario lights?
No idea.. they are stock

Im not a huge fan of this distressed look. nevertheless, I look for a small body acoustiv with pickup...for leftys.
