God gives us a lifetime to get it right.
Lessons learned:
Why, if God is all-powerful and always good, how can He allow evil to flourish? Job asked what we continue to ask even today. Why does the evil person seem to prosper while the righteous suffer? Job battles with this thought but concludes that the faithful can expect a glorious future in the afterlife.
My Prayer:
My Prayer: Dearest Heavenly Father, the God of mercy who sees all. I come to You with a heavy heart, asking for Your grace and strength to help those who suffer. Allow us to make a difference in the lives of those who struggle. Help us to open our hearts, eyes, minds, and hands to do what You have called us to do for others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
