Make sure you watch the video to the end! Didn't realize a fuse had to be installed underhood in the "Tow" location, and it will not work without this. Shame on me, but hopefully this comment helps you with your install.
I see you have another video for the 2016 model of this maker, and the harness used, and the procedure is pretty similar, I have the 2017 model, can I assume the procedure and the outcome would be the same? Thank you!

The aftermarket tow harness does not need any more than 10 amps. A 30 amp fuse could allow too much amperage and burn out the convertor box.

This is very helpful,but note that the 4-prong bracket for attaching to the undercarriage is not provided in the kit.
