It’s part of the territory to work in any environment for actors, ( we see much of this in both Bollywood and Hollywood),look at Duniyapur what those actors and actresses had to endure, including very hot temperatures, and still delivering through their craft! Ali Razia’s role was short and he described how he was chained in the heat in a cage before his characters death, he endured injury to his feet etc, but didn’t fail to deliver his role,so did Ramsha in that hot ( no AC), climate of the fictional land of Duniyapur! Your comment bears no merit,an either an actor delivers or not, and sadly unlike Maya’s other drama like YUNHI and Jo Bicher Gaye, she fails to deliver her role well as Sadaf in SMD!
She is not the only one in the entire film industry. She gets paid really well. Not a big deal. What about people who work in hot summer for peanuts like farm helpers, construction workers.🤪👎🏾
@ 💯 true! We give more importance to celebrities but when covid hit the globe it’s the essential workers not CEO’s not celebrities who entangled us to survive with their work, like keeping food supplies, medical staff, farmers,refuge collectors,etc!👍🏽
This show is such a disappointment. All characters seem hopeless and so confused. None of the characters are developed properly, they are all different in each episode. Wahaj can’t save the show, Even Maya sucks who is a good actress. This show seems so backward yet set in the modern world. WTF was the writer thinking, the producers need to read the entire script before choosing the script just because the writer wrote few good things before. Ughhhhhh N.A. yeh natak aab shore sakte hain aur na purri tarah dekh sakte hain

I think this drama deserves only 1 award and that’s for singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The OST is great though!

@ What I meant was the story is going haywire so I don’t think this drama deserves any other award other than its OST. I’m taken aback to see Maya Ali, Wajah Ali performing like this. I had high hopes from this drama and had seen many works of these actors. They were brilliant there but unfortunately the script is not well written and the direction is also quite poor. Any sad scene is over exaggerated by Sadaf’s performance. Not relatable at all. ☹️

I second Aamna’s thought on the usage of English in this drama. The way Sadaf was reading the contract: a) it was not audible clearly & b) I wonder why the director wanted to make her read in that scene. No point and no sense at all! Daniya’s English has lot of errors too!
Thank God I got such vibes from the teasers. It truly breaks my heart since I love Maya and I wish to see her in better projects. Same for Wahaj, Amar, Usama and Hira. Glad i didn't watch it and I saw PTV's Sannata and Dur e Shehwar❤
My philosophical understanding of SMD:
Bilal represents true love-something close to us but often overlooked due to our own foolishness. Sadaf symbolizes the ordinary person who makes mistakes, such as choosing Amar, who represents an illusion or falsehood. Humsha embodies evil, leading others astray. The mother and brother stand for those caught in the middle-people who understand the truth but struggle to convey it to the misguided (Sadaf) and help them break free from the illusion.

To visitor nay doosray pagal ki history poochi ke yeh kon hai or yahan q aya hai to attendant nay kaha ye Ammar hai 🤣🤣🤣

Aap dono jo discuss kar rahe hain ki Ammaar itna ro ro kar emotional kyun hue jaa raha hai, wo apne cheating ki guilt mein khwaar nahi ho raha hai, balki Daniya jo use haasil karne k liye manipulate kar rahi hai, usko, manipulate ho kar Shak kar kar k takleef mein aa raha hai.

Aamana the best thing about the play is Wahaj with his futurist veiw 😅and his slow🐌🐌🐌 motivation to heroine😅

Aamna I have family members who had cancer 3 rd stage and 4th stage - even after the op they go through chemos etc and my cousin just died recently 34 years old of cancer he had third stage cancer

Exactly. There is nothing wrong in playing a flawed and shady character. Actors don't always like to play the good and ideal man and like to try variations. I feel It's not correct to question usama why he even chose to play this character.usually we see such type of characters in supporting roles but since this character is having so much screentime in most of the episodes it becomes irritating. The same goes for Sadaf. We should feel sympathy for sadaf because she is a girl who made the wrong decision and is now facing the consequences, instead we are very much irritated with Sadaf. This ultimately boils down to absurd writing sub par performances and flawed direction.

It’s your channel and content, and guess most viewers want this performative “review” but for me it’s becoming cringe.. Not defending SMD flaws, it has many, but posting this roast separately shows you are monetizing as well, so please stop with the ott outrage and ridicule. You both are good interviewers and can host thoughtful discussions I’m hoping you would do more of those.

This is just a bad drama , I don’t think that the actors should have accepted this drama it has made them bad by the writers fault , I don’t think the writer has any idea of the English language 😂😂😂😂 sad to say it’s a bad show end it soon .

But humyun didn't die in gentleman he was alive ..and was shown ti be alive..though I agree gm script was not good .
