Did you watch the full video? Half of them start full and untouched and get put into a different container in the end
@@Mmannk thats because there are people who comission them in different cases, or that they want to store the product in smaller, more compact cases, maybe to sell or give out to friends and family.
@@kimkos “the makeup is actually broken at the start, they put it back in the original case” op’s exact words. I’m not saying they’re wrong for commissions. I’m pointing out that half the video is the exact opposite of what op described the entire video as.

I really like when they fix makeup but it kind of breaks my heart to see them ruin perfectly good makeup.
They are packaging them for counterfeit resale 😊 as you can see from the concealer one, they put it in very similar packaging, and the original container holds enough to fill 7. This is so they can resell it in other countries where there is a huge markup for import cosmetics. So technically the product is real, but in fake packaging.
I gotta wonder how she gets the Dior stamp on the makeup at the end
I think they have the logo on the thing they use to press the powder into the container or the lipstick mold

@@zerotodona1495 It’s not shady. She sells them for a portion of the price to people who can’t afford the whole thing, want to try before they get the whole thing, just want a travel size version of it or don’t have that brand in their Countries. It’s a very common practice.

Well, realistically you wouldn't be able to pull that big one out on the go. i'd do it if i really like the product but want it to carry everywhere without getting blown out.

@@feelinthepsi buying makeup and using sterilized tools and equipment to make smaller pallets to sell for people to have cheap versions of luxury makeup to try is no unheard of. It's done with perfumes all the time
Selling them as smaller/travel size? It’s popular here in Indonesia to buy “share in jar” products or “share in bottle” to actually try the products before purchasing the full size, bcs sephora here doesn’t gift us a sample products like in the US or Europe maybe
for trial purpose. Sometimes I will buy the trial package before I decided to stick with them

I am betting the makeup isn’t really used, even though some look used. They probably did that to them on purpose (at least I hope so). Otherwise, why would they be “fixing” used makeup as though they will be selling it? 🧐
They take requests from clients to restore makeup. Some people don't want to spend money all over again to buy high end expensive makeup just because the ones they have broke, so they send it to the restoration.
