They certainly cram a lot of houses into those hills. Eclectic designs and colours too. Love the two old Volvo's parked outside ! Super video! ❤ 🏴 🇬🇧

How great to see The Dell again! My favorite home is a jewel that was on your left as you turned right to go up Odin, set back a little from the street. It’s vintage 1920’s, I’m pretty sure….one of the really early ones. That enormous home built more recently, on your right on a street whose name is escaping me at the moment, stuck out like a sore thumb. I love all of the different colors of the houses, especially the one painted an orange-sherbet color, with a scene painted across the garage doors; so iconic Los Angeles. Thank you so much for the great drive.
@@Omwvlog And I’m enjoying watching very much, and I’ll always look for your drives. I’ve got some to catch up on, I’ve discovered, and am looking forward to them.
I'm impressed, as always, by the care you take to provide street names. I don't live in LA; I first went there in 1969. The "City View" that you show at 29:34 would have been a stinking, smoggy mess at that time. It's amazing what emission controls have accomplished.
Oh wow! I can't imagine what the smog looked like back then! I'll definitely continue to add the street names for a better viewing experience. If you ever see one of my videos without them. Please let me know so i can add them! 😀
Amazing you drove up my street from 38 years ago on Mound Street at the end of the cul-de-sac. It has been years since I’ve seen the old neighborhood. Thank you!😊
Oh *Wow* glad RUclips recommended this, a blast from the past!! I have friends who use to live in that area, but then again I have friends who use to live all over the Greater Los Angels area , almost all have moved away from Cali. Miss going there.
TO OMW: oh YAY! The Dell Drive is in my notifications list. I can’t wait. Did I say how great it is that you put the street names in the video? It is. I really like that. And thank you for not playing thoroughly-annoying music that spoils everything. I refuse to watch those, wherever they are.

The Dell is part of the original Hollywood Hills on the East and is a small part of the Hills. The Hollywood Hills has an East and a West that is split by the 101 freeway. The street that was wider had a flatter surface of the Hill near the freeway. I'm assuming that's why they were able to make the road wider. Not sure if I made sense. Hope this helps.
