Hey guy. Nice boat! I'd personally beef up that transom and throw a mercury 250 pro xs on there and hang on for dear life!!! Lol! How is Becky doing? I've been messaging her for a while and haven't heard back. I hope she's ok.
Nice review... you're ready for the high seas now.... lol. Those electric motors are so quiet, and you'll get a good run out of it kept on 'low' speed ... save a lot of rowing. lol I find it's best to row on the way to where you're going, saving the motor for the return trip home (in case of emergency, you'll have the battery power left and a quick way back). Glenn.

I used to have an Avon boat that size with a 3 HP gas motor. I had a job in Yuma AZ at the time and rented a farmhouse 1/2 mile from the Colorado river. Loads of fun.
I see the Golden and I know they took a ride also.

Great trolling motor and for the price you can't beat it. It's saltwater approved/rated but I have not tested it yet. Does great so far in lakes and rivers
