Bossio, i appreciate this bro. All the free game you’ve given over the years. I’ve cut hair for over a decade as a “hobby” never looked at it like a business until watching folks like you show what’s possible. I graduate barber collage on Jan 4th.
Just graduated today 🙏🏽🙏🏽 never cut hair before until my sister showed me what is possible. It quickly became a passion and I look to improve everyday 🙌
I am not a new barber in the game been at it for a couple years new but I still see value in this video. Don’t think cause you been in the game that this video ain’t for you, there is a lot of good information and it’s always good to revisit your building blocks.
Chris, I appreciate you man. For real. I got my license in April and have been at a shop since and these gems really opened my eyes to put me on good vision going into 2023 !
omg bro this videos help us so much as a beginner this helps us so much u can’t even imagine, thank you so much man you are a great person with a great soul and i hope god blesses you and your family ❤️
I remember back in day my dad who was barber in his own shop , he served free cola in a bucket of ice in hot summer of July , but when I came home thirsty from school I saw his bucket of attractive coke he didn't let me a sip🥵😆.
Hey Chris, thank you for sharing so much of your wisdom. I’m a new licensed Barber, and my school didn’t teach me anything. Now I’m in the shop, and I’m really struggling. I don’t know how to cut hair. I don’t have much clientele, but it kinda doesn’t matter cuz I’m not fast enough or skilled enough to handle a large volume of people. I wanna quit, but I put all my eggs in this basket, and I don’t have anything else. Trying to find a 2nd job currently. Any advice?
Thanks so much ❤it I’m writing down all notes this year for when I get my license I have my diploma from school now I’m scheduling my practical test so I’m going to use your method to growing this year and learn more about our industry and possible pie accounting and learn the ownership process and get the knowledge I need for owning my first barbershop and thanks for your advice and I will be watching more business content from you and apply to my arsenal.❤ it great video
In my 20th. I know my market is mostly guys and kids that want a solid cut.. and don't cheep out on the finish. Style the hair!!! This will change your life and pockets. Blow dryer and different products and read the head *cut☆ and read the vibe they give off.
Give products. Buy alot and set aside what you bought wholesale prices set 3 aside as sample. Educate your client on how to style the cut. And man.. I remember the sign days.. in 30F or less. Uh man..

it is important what makes you diffrent from other barbers , what makes you a better barber.
Most barbers don’t even do the basics, I’d focus on that

I used to cut everyone’s hair in middle school double line ups and stars on the side with a peanut. 28 year old rookie looking for a school now
Is becoming a barber in November good with no other source of income ?
By first year do you mean your actual 1st year of cutting hair or after getting your license
After you get your license. You’ll have a ceiling if you don’t have a license
