My sister has stage four cancer that has metastasized. For all those who don't know the treatment for cancer has a strong effect on the body. Its called exhaustion. The idea that any normal sympathetic person would even ask her to blink for their pleasure shows how unsympathetic people are. I am from the US and I pray for her recovery every day as I do for my sister. I pray for her recovery for her children's sake, for her husband and her family. But not for her swift return to public life.
We only want confirmation that Catherine is recovering and at least that she is alive. We should not be lied to and it’s because we r worried and we care for her. That is why we want to see her. There is so much speculation because we don’t believe what the palace is telling us and we believe there might be a cover up. Please do not generalize when it comes to the British public. Most of us are genuine.

My mother had uterine cancer and had to have a hysterectomy and cancer treatment. If whatever Kate’s going through is similar to what what my mother went through it will take 6+ months for her to start feeling better. Chemo is brutal. In addition, and rightly so, we have not been given details of the Princess of Wales' cancer. It is likely she has felt extremely ill and whilst we are being told she has "turned the corner", I'm sure she will still be feeling unwell and drained with the treatment. Princess Catherine will return to public duty ONLY when she is well enough to do so. For God's sake, leave her alone.
It takes 5 years after remission to be declared cancer free. That means she gets to be there for her children for the next 5 years. 😊 Pray for her recovery and thank the Almighty she gets to be there for her children during their childhood.
I went through aggressive cancer treatment in Oxford, years ago, but it was no less than 1 full year of treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy. People need to get educated on cancer treatment - that it varies, from person to person, depending on whether it's Stage 1 or 4 - and what grade/how aggressive the cancer, but also what they need to understand is that she needs time. No one should have given any promises of her recovery and return in the spring. That was really unrealistic and unfair to her -- putting undue pressure on her and stress, which makes recovery even more difficult. The world and its demands must recede during treatment, so the patient can focus on healing.
Unfortunately the Doctors did not diagnose Cancer at the time of the Abdominal surgery .That is why Kensington Palace initially ruled out Cancer and caused so much confusion.
I too went through surgery and then 4 months of intense chemo. I agree , I didn’t feel like myself for about a year also. Plus her immune system is weak from chemo. Leave her alone.

I had lower belly cancer and had 7 months of chemotherapy and much radiation. Some days I felt well and others horrible. I feel bad for Kate and she might be away for some time yet. She needs to be left alone to get through all this. All the stories going around are ridiculous. She is with her family which is the best place to be during all this.
If she looks thin and ill and has lost her hair, she will not want to be seen in public for a while even with a wig. Please let her be. Glad she is putting herself first. I pray for a full recovery for her.
I cannot believehorrible women have been putting out such horror stories, it makes me want to spit blood.having just lost a young relative with lung and brain cancer. Horrific especially as her mum, 4years earlier went with the same thing. She was unrecognisable after treatment. Grim to say the least. Poor old Kate, goodness knows how she feels especially regarding her children.
Even if she hasn’t lost her hair-I didn’t lose mine--the fatigue, brain fog, and body aches, made me feel ‘flu-ish’ all the time. She probably already pushed herself for ‘normal’ with having young children. The whole family goes through a severe shaking when the heart of their home is sick. I can imagine, people feel their asking is because of concern, however it can be a very stressful thing for the family. Most see cancer and its treatment as a very private issue; a family affair. Her medical team informed her at the tthat she would have to undergo preventative cancer treatments. Let's continue to honor Catherine's last request that we give her and her family privacy, space, and time as she begins her treatments as well as continuing her path to a good recovery from her surgery. Believe me, it took time for my sister, who is a strong woman, to finish her preventive treatment, which is weakening. She remained thin because the surgeons say she had undiagnosed crohns disease which became worse with stomach pain and inflammation, loss of appetite and diarrhea. It cannot be cured but controlled with meds and a special non fibrous diet.
I safari a lot with bowls problem for years and on lots of time I end up as an emergency in the hospital and for that I lost so much weight My wight was 34k and 4 pounds my doctor referred me to dilatation for spatial diet after two weeks my weight was about 48k and I almost back to my normal weight
Only cancer patients know the pain of the treatment. I was treated for a year. Some days are good. Some days are bad. So patient and good mood is better than medicine. Let her rest.

I don't quite understand the "Pre-Chemotherapy" cancer treatment. Was Princess Catherine diagnosed with confirmed cancer diagnosed, or was a Pre-Cancerous condition diagnosed and confirmed? Generally, the patient is diagnosed with an affirmed cancer diagnosis (after surgery) and then receives chemotherapy, and, or, radiation therapy, followed by immunotherapy.

Unfortunately, not weird. I am going to venture a guess (and I could be totally wrong) that you are under 40, and don't realize how common cancer is as one gets older. One out of two British people will have a cancer diagnosis, per the World Cancer Research Fund page "UK Cancer Statistics." (This surprises me. I am American, I thought it was more like 1 out of 4 in my nation.) The King is 75; the Duchess of York is 64 -- most cancers occur after age 50. Only the Princess of Wales being diagnosed in her early 40's is an anomaly, but early onset cancers, in people under 50, have been going up worldwide. 30 years ago, I had two friends diagnosed with cancer in their mid-30's within a year of each other; they survived. Another friend lost a brother to cancer in his 20's. Of the 4 deaths that have occurred so far among my 16 cousins, 3 have been due to cancer, one of them in his 40's.
I think people really do not care that much. The life has become so difficult and tok many are simply struggling to be interested in it all. At least the royals have access to the best medical care many in the UK can only dream about. People wish her all the best and that is it, but her return to the public eye is not anyone’s priority i think.

If princess Catherine is unable to attend the Trooping of the Colour due to her illness, surely her children will attend with their father Prince William, their children aren’t ill . I understand the media said the royal children won’t attend either this year, why so? I agree. There's many things that don't add up. The children have or had a nanny. Catherine's parents & friends were supposedly helping out. Her parents have been absolutely silent. Why did William appear in that video of himself & 'Catherine' at the farm shop? It was very soon after her operation, the young lady was not Catherine but is a 'double' of her & much younger. Give her the time and space she needs to recover! Cancer and its treatment is often really tough on the affected individual (and their loved ones) both physically and emotionally. I honestly can't even imagine what the Princess is going through, Cancer is rough enough for the average citizen who isn't scrutinized every second of their life, what Princess Catherine is going through right now is likely that and then some considering she's a person of public interest. She may have access to the best care ever, but she will still need time and space to handle it all and recover. Please show her and her family respect and give them all time and space. Princess Catherine will be back to public duties when she's ready to, don't pressure her to return any sooner than when SHE feels ready to! She's not just the Princess of Wales and future Queen (or is it Queen Consort), she's also a wife, mother and human being.

I totally agree. Some people have a really bad reaction to chemo. I couldn’t bear to watch their horrible sickness, others don’t even have pain, even though they are constantly asked about their feelings. I’ve nursed family members with it, who died not long after diagnosis, pain was not an issue, yet others writhe and scream with horrendous discomfort. It never fails to surprise me that the wretched disease can present itself in so many different ways. Leave the princess alone. Right now she only cares for her children’s feelings as most mothers do. All the money in the world won’t pacify if she was lost to them.

I cannot believehorrible women have been putting out such horror stories, it makes me want to spit blood.having just lost a young relative with lung and brain cancer. Horrific especially as her mum, 4years earlier went with the same thing. She was unrecognisable after treatment. Grim to say the least. Poor old Kate, goodness knows how she feels especially regarding her children.
Even if she hasn’t lost her hair-I didn’t lose mine--the fatigue, brain fog, and body aches, made me feel ‘flu-ish’ all the time. She probably already pushed herself for ‘normal’ with having young children. The whole family goes through a severe shaking when the heart of their home is sick. Princess Catherine needs her time to heal and to be at her best before entering into a fast pace life style. Believe me, it took time for my sister, who is a strong woman, to finish her preventive treatment, which is weakening. My cancer treatment was less invasive, and it took me a good year and a half to have the pure strength I had prior. Give PC her space and wait for her to come back STRONG! ❤❤❤

I was really under weight during my own illness in 2023 but it’s not cancer related thankfully. I returned to college a month after it happened fitter than ever
She remained thin because the surgeons say she had undiagnosed crohns disease which became worse with stomach pain and inflammation, loss of appetite and diarrhea. It cannot be cured but controlled with meds and a special non fibrous diet.
I safari a lot with bowls problem for years and on lots of time I end up as an emergency in the hospital and for that I lost so much weight
My wight was 34k and 4 pounds my doctor referred me to dilatation for spatial diet after two weeks my weight was about 48k and I almost back to my normal weight

I don't quite understand the "Pre-Chemotherapy" cancer treatment. Was Princess Catherine diagnosed with confirmed cancer diagnosed, or was a Pre-Cancerous condition diagnosed and confirmed? Generally, the patient is diagnosed with an affirmed cancer diagnosis (after surgery) and then receives chemotherapy, and, or, radiation therapy, followed by immunotherapy.
I’m an American and even I know that she prefers to be called Catherine…not Kate. Just my opinion but I think that calling her Kate is disrespectful. She has definitely earned the right to be called Catherine Princess of Wales.

Cancer can remain dormant for 10 years or 20 years. It can be in remission for some years but rarely cured.

30 years ago, I had two friends diagnosed with cancer in their mid-30's within a year of each other; they survived. Another friend lost a brother to cancer in his 20's. Of the 4 deaths that have occurred so far among my 16 cousins, 3 have been due to cancer, one of them in his 40's.

I agree. There's many things that don't add up. The children have or had a nanny. Catherine's parents & friends were supposedly helping out. Her parents have been absolutely silent. Which could be regarding privacy. Catherine certainly has the best health care. In fact I heard the Royal residences, or at least some, have their own medical rooms or centres. Why did William appear in that video of himself & 'Catherine' at the farm shop? It was very soon after her operation, the young lady was not Catherine but is a 'double' of her & much younger.
People get curious when they are either lied to, or not given a sensible story.

Having gone thru chemo, you feel like 💩. Even after it takes your mind and body a bit to sort out.
Exactly spot on it's horrendous I've seen my family and friends go through it.
And she probably throws up after treatment because it’s exhausting but it’s getting her better
my mother had chemo,having lost nearly 10 in 2 years .my mum was diagnosed,with terminal cancer,had 24hrs to ,live princess anne ,had met my mum .at the hospice,. I hope she pulls through.👍

Give her the time and space she needs to recover! Cancer and its treatment is often really tough on the affected individual (and their loved ones) both physically and emotionally. I honestly can't even imagine what the Princess is going through, Cancer is rough enough for the average citizen who isn't scrutinized every second of their life, what Princess Catherine is going through right now is likely that and then some considering she's a person of public interest. She may have access to the best care ever, but she will still need time and space to handle it all and recover. Please show her and her family respect and give them all time and space. Princess Catherine will be back to public duties when she's ready to, don't pressure her to return any sooner than when SHE feels ready to! She's not just the Princess of Wales and future Queen (or is it Queen Consort), she's also a wife, mother and human being.

I’m saddened to hear all of this about Catherine’s health but I’d much prefer that she refrained from public duties until such time as she feels fit & healthy enough to cope with even ‘light’ duties of any kind. The children & William need her to recover. We all do. Trying to ‘pressure’ an early return is counterproductive. I worry about King Charles. I do hope he’s not overdoing things. I’m rather relieved that Queen Camilla is there to support. She seems to have a great deal of good old common sense.
People with even advanced cancer who are on chemo and or radiation don't usually need year to recover. I hope Catherine's health is not declining.

Although the family is facing a difficult situation, it exemplifies the strength of the monarchy and the love and devotion they have towards each other.

If the Princess is or was receiving chemotherapy, she cannot return to public duties so soon. Chemo is exhausting and she will be losing all of her hair. The hair takes months to grow back. She also has to safeguard her overall physical constitution. I think it’s futile for the press or anyone else to be speculating on when she’ll return. I wouldn’t expect her back even for the rest of this year.

I totally agree. Some people have a really bad reaction to chemo. I couldn’t bear to watch their horrible sickness, others don’t even have pain, even though they are constantly asked about their feelings. I’ve nursed family members with it, who died not long after diagnosis, pain was not an issue, yet others writhe and scream with horrendous discomfort. It never fails to surprise me that the wretched disease can present itself in so many different ways. Leave the princess alone. Right now she only cares for her children’s feelings as most mothers do. All the money in the world won’t pacify if she was lost to them.
