The shape of the apples differs quite a bit from european apples. Actually I would prefer that shape. It is more rectangular which probably makes packaging more efficient. And red apple flowers are also very rare in europe. The flowers are more white/pink....I love it!

Another beautiful thing about farming fruits for me is it implies love because you become an environmental conservationist, you give food to other beings on the planet, especially birds, and provide healthy recipes to people.
    Thanks Wodemaya and Wambugu Apple

The reason why Africans were made to believe that apples and many other food crops can't do well in Africa was actually a colonial design. Africa was meant to feed western factories and they were cultivating apples already as well as wheat in the west. That's why our economies were centered around cotton, cocoa, rubber and other cash crops that are not of much economic value to us in Africa. Happy that young farmers are changing the rhetoric. Our governments should invest more into these crops we can grow and consume and export!

The British colonial government grew apples in the ‘white highlands’ and surrounding environs and it thrived.

Truly, Agriculture is the first job God assigned to man. because if he does not eat he becomes feeble and cannot multiply and have dominion over other things. Whosoever jokes with agriculture is joking with his survival and that of upcoming generations
