Vasikka Thagundha Idam - 6

A place where pazhudhu illaa prappanaas live - who are ananya seshathvam, ananya upaayam (saranaagathi only as upaayam) and think only of kainkaryam to Him, that place itself gets mahimai like that of kshetrams where saastraas say that even saamaanyaals by just living there will attain samsuddhi.
Svami details shaandili vrthaantham to show this. shaandili, a maha tapasvini lived in a saamaanya dveepam in the middle of the ocean. Garudan took Gaavalar, his maathular and vishwamitra's disciple to varuna lokam to fetch special horses there as guru dakshina to viswaamitrar (vishwamitrar didn't want any dakshinai, but because he was pressured by gaavalar, he got angry, and so he asked for these white horses with black tails present only in varuna lokam). They stopped at shaandili aashramam on the way. Garuda in admiration of shaandili, thought that she should be taken to a better lokam. But because he thought of the dveepam that shaandili lived in as a bad place it amounted to bhaagavatha apachaaram. His grand wings withered and he realized his apachaaram and did aparaadha kshaapanam to shaandili which restored his wings to even greater magnificence. This shows that the place where a uyarndha bhaagavathaa lives itself becomes a uyarndha idam. This shows that for those who gathyantaram (wayra vazhi) illaadha podhu, we can live in a place where prapannas live.

Vazhi irukkaravaal should not. They should also not do dushanam of places where prapannaas live (to avoid what happened to Garudan).
