2022 Young Australian of the Year: Dr Daniel Nour | Australian of the Year 2022 | ABC Australia

Congratulations to Young Australian of the Year 2022, Dr Daniel Nour.
After learning about the barriers limiting access to healthcare across NSW, Daniel created Street Side Medics, a mobile medical service dedicated to those experiencing homelessness.
"We started in July 2020 with two volunteers, and we've grown the team now to 220 volunteers with two vans and have served over 500 patients."
Despite working full time at Royal North Shore Hospital, Daniel spends his afternoons volunteering to ensure the clinics are run smoothly and patients are receiving the care they deserve.
