In today's video, I wanted to share a HUGE shopping haul with you from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Dollar Tree,, Thrift stores and Consignment Stores, too! I purchased furniture for a makeover, decorative items to use for more Spring decorating videos, craft supplies, beauty supplies and more! I always get so overwhelmed when I go into the floral area at Hobby Lobby ..I honestly have to walk away because I never know what to get . I will see something I love then look a foot from there and find something I love even more but then have a tug a war battle in my head on what would be more practical .. It's crazy ..I usually just walk away and buy something else ..Im going to have to take a trip there though now that there is a sale on greens and just get over the anxiety and just purchase a few things because I need to for my job .. I wish I had your eye and talent .. You so inspire me so much .. Thanks for the tip on the price changes too Im going to have to pay close attention when I go ..
Hi Julianna! It IS totally overwhelming! If you have an inspiration photo from Pinterest or even a RUclips video, that helps with a starting point. I get overwhelmed with project ideas. It is best to just pick 1 idea and complete it instead of looking at 20 ideas and not doing any of them. 😂 Too many options, so little time. XOXOXO

Thank you for that, that was a lot of fun!! I adore Hobby lobby!! I feel like I'm cheating when I go in there though, everything in there is already so beautiful that it's hard to improve on any of it! I'm used to years of searching for ''treasures'' through yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores and salvation armies and fixing them up. I love the thrill of the hunt for interesting stuff, you never know what you'll find at these stores! The most exciting time I've had in my life is when I got the opportunity to by my grandfathers house that he built in 1946. My mother was raised in this house. He had a tractor shed, a barn and a smoke house on this property. When my grandparents died, one of their sons, my Uncle, bought it and did some remodeling (wish he hadn't of). So when my uncle and his wife died, their son sold it to me to keep it in the family. My Uncle worked all his life for Century Furniture. So when we purchased the house and started exploring it and the surrounding buildings, every day was and has been a treasure hunt!! In the root cellar my Uncle had stashed some of my grandmother's cream and sugar glazed clay ware which is not cheap stuff but not marked either, perfume bottles from the 60's, shoe polish older than that, hair pomade from the 50's !! In the work shop my uncle built , a French Provincial end table, among loads of other furniture, and upstairs a French provincial coffee table and 2 end tables!! Just gorgeous and all wood! ! An old chair from who knows when, that I love!! Old canning jars that are now collectibles in the the root cellar are my fave, and every time I dig in the yard to plant something I find old bottles or metal parts of old tools, wood stoves, and even an old snaffle bit that Grandpa used on his mules to pull the wagon or plow the garden. I am living in heaven on earth!! We have found so many things I can't list them all. But I have a shelf that is seven feet long that I place the things I find, and clean up, on. Life is one big treasure hunt!! Have a blessed weekend!

I found a glass pedestal candy dish at our local Salvation Army outlet. I followed your video and created a birds nest in my rooms colors. It's sitting on my piano right now. Thanks for your wonderful ideas and diys.

What a great haul of bushes and greenery. Most of them look real. And it is a good idea to get ones that don’t look fake or cheap looking.
Yes! Brass is back! I found a beautiful tray @ an antique store It’s so unique I placed it on my living table ❤️ The shell sconce I put it in my walls outside in the pool linai Love that brass bowl, especially my color All your pieces are great finds Smart shopper😉

I got a ton of greenery at Hobby Lobby as well on Monday! Then went to Home Goods and spent more there...and of course had to stop at Dollar Tree since it’s so close. 🤣Love your haul. The Painted South In my area, our Hobby Lobby is in a neighboring town about 25 miles away, but within just a couple miles we have HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Ross, Pier 1, Michaels, JoAnns, Dollar Tree, Target & a couple of Wal-Marts, so I do way more shopping than I need to ! I also ordered $175 of DIY paint after I saw you using it even though I’ve known of its existence for several years - Ha ! Can’t wait to see more of your painting !

Good idea showing what you like to get at the Dollar Tree. I get alot of my staples there, tissues, TP, dish soap and some cleaning products, etc. Now I'm going to get the face cleaning disposable clothes you were talking about. Keep goin girl!! Deborah, Another good buy is there Kleenex a lg box for a dollar. I also buy their BB cream makeup. It comes in three shades. I buy light and medium. Mix for perfect shade. I’ve tried many,many different brands from the cheapest drugstore brands to some of the most expensive brands from Neiman Marcus. It covers well and I’ve had no problems or breakouts. Some times I add a drop of Prue Rose seed oil to it. Loved your haul and I’ve purchased some if the same items. So looking forward to all your future videos. A "rumor" went around several years ago to let us know that we should NEVER get toothpaste at dollar stores as it comes from China and has been known to have traces of anti-freeze and/or arsenic. Also, pet food is questionable for the very same reasons. While I LOVE the bargains available at dollar stores, I am careful with what I actually buy there. But their paper goods are fabulous!
