Nice having something like that so close to the city... But I'm sure you're right. Must get well rammed up there when the weather is good!! Nice work as always Darren!! :D
Cheers Phil. It would be even better if it wasn’t being used as an excuse to ban biking everywhere else around the city. Makes me pleased to be a country boy!
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland oh! Had no idea that happens in Switzerland too! I am shocked... as a visitor I only ever see shared trails and trail tolerance in effect everywhere - which is a big reason why I think Switzerland is very close to being MTB paradise 😃
It sure is. The work they've done on the bottom section has made a massive difference. I'll go with the ebike next time, which should enable me to do more laps and start unlocking some of the puzzles.
It’s a pretty cool trail for sure. The trick for the wall ride is to ride it like a berm. Make sure you’ve got enough speed and commit to leaning into the turn. You can start small and work your way up as you get a feel for it.
Almost the entire bottom half was rebuilt after that storm, including some wooden bridges that have previously been destroyed by fallen trees. It is indeed much more flowy now. On the weekends when it's good weather it definitely gets very crowded, but I'd say you can still have a ton of fun on it if you leave enough headroom after the previous rider. The rooty section at the top is my favorite part to be fair and those 2 tables right before the wall ride.
I don’t have a gpx, but from Parkplatz Feldermoos, if you cross over the footbridge, the route is pretty well signposted from there. maps.app.goo.gl/8EEyUycXC2KNsP7a7?g_st=ic
There are ample opportunities to do both types of riding, so it really depends what you like the most. I ride an enduro bike, which suits me perfectly.
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland Thanks for the reply. I only have an XC at the moment, I will diff try it out on my new home trails here in Zürich. I will have to get a trail/enduro especially after watching your videos from Chur and the other places. Amazing.
Yes, the bottom part has been completely reshaped by Trailworks after the storm. The berms now work, and they added more than the two shark fins to find.
Thank you. Unfortunately, I don't know of any mountain bike schools that can teach in Italian. I would suggest you message some schools and ask if they can teach in Italian.

@Jay Rides Trails It's not all decided though. Last round was a court case that went to the bikers!
I like the Antänne Trail! Allways a fun ride! Nice video buddy!👍🏼
Thanks dude. It’s a good ride for sure. I think next time I go though, I’ll take the ebike so that I can do a few laps.
Awesome trail AND video, gets me stoked to get back on the bike again
Thanks 🙏🏻 I can’t ask for anything more than to get people stoked to ride 🤘
A very cool video Darren, it was a great evening ride, we definitely need to do it again. Ride on🤙
Thanks buddy. We should take the ebikes next time for more laps!
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland Oh yeah🤩🔥
Superb video once again Darren, and a great trail considering it is right next to the city! Jumps look nice indeed - and the berms pretty amazing 😃
Cheers Jay. The reshaping work has made a huge difference. I previously never bothered with the lower section, but now it rides like a dream.
So cool! nice riding!
Thanks dude 🤘
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland 🤘
great video my friend, nice trail there in Uetliberg, with the friend Christoph, greetings from Argentina.
Thanks Sergio. Always good to hear from you!
Super vidéo
Merci 🤘
great vid as always I need to get back on the trails with you after the summer😊
Cheers Gav. We need to hit the trails hard in the autumn for sure.
That looks like a fun little trail system. Cool Vid 🤘
Thanks Bruno. I should probably ride there more often than I do. The joys of being spoilt for choice!
nice video nice trail nice city
Thanks. It's been a while since I was last there, probably time for a return visit 🤔
Really sweet trails🤙
If they were closer to home, I’d ride them more for sure.
Great trails mate, looks perfect for progressing your skills on 👍
Thanks Marc. There’s definitely a couple of little challenges for the future for sure.
It was such a nice ride with you guys!! hill climbe is horrible, but at the end, you get rewarded 😁
Definitely!! Looking forward to the next opportunity to ride together.
Great looking trail Darren …. Local knowledge helps getting the most out of a trail

Awesome location again 👍I would love to ride a wooden wall burm, any tip for doing this? ☮️☯️

El Classico ❤️
A good example of how to build a flow trail that works for everyone!

It is certainly much improved. Now the city just needs some good legal tech trails.
Thank you fot the video!
How do you get to the top of the Uetliberg with MTBs from Stadelhofen?
I always park my car near Triemli Hospital. From Stadelhofen, You’ll need to ride across the city.
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland Thank but how do I go up it seems all roads are with steps. .Do you have komoot links or profile which I can follow?

Your favorite part is also mine. Love this middle section the most. The last third is the one I don’t like at all. It’s like pavement there.
Great minds think alike 😎 Even though the bottom third is much better, you can’t beat the middle section in my opinion. 👍
Good to see an english comment on CH trails! Please consoder upgrade to 60 fps and will be perfect!
Thanks for the support. Just one of many videos I have made about the Swiss trails I love 🤘
@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland There is a better one, more natural, on the same mountain, hopw you are able to cover it in one of the vids!!
What is the "best" choice of travel fork/suspension around Zürich? Is XC+ or a full-on trail bike?

How long is the climb?
I honestly can’t remember. Less than a hour for sure though.
