  • Antonio Meneses, the world-famous cellist, talks about his experience having a cello by Luiz Amorim. His cello is a Domenico Montagna model, inspired by 'the Ex-Eisenberg,' 1733 model.
Antonio started his career early in life, at the age of ten. A few years later, he moved to Europe to continue his studies with the famous Italian cellist Antonio Janigro. In 1977 he won the first prize at ARD International Competition in Munich; at the 1982 Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, he was awarded first prize and gold medal. A devoted musician, he performs with most of the world's leading orchestras on the music capitals of Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Additionally to his busy concert schedule, he teaches at the Bern Conservatory and regularly gives worldwide masterclasses.
We are delighted to have Antonio Meneses as our client and as part of the Amorim family. In this video, you'll watch his feedback and how his Cello by Luiz Amorim inspires him to play some of the greatest works of art.
