I understand. I was pointing it out because this is what those guys build those Rock Bouncers to do... I think lol. Well maybe it's to put on a show but how long can you put on a show when something like an Ultra4 walks right up what you were thrashing around on for 30 min.
You are watching a fun competition between recreational "rock bouncers" and professional sponsored and backed racers "Ultra 4 cars". To say the professional racers showed up the average Joe in their mostly home built rig is comparing apples to oranges. Both do what they do for fun and enjoyment (and maybe some small purse that almost never covers expenses). Some just have bigger budgets and more time to test and R&D. Enjoy the video for what it is and leave all the "he better than you" aside.
name of the game is keeping your tires on the ground.... shock tuning is key. if the bouncers wernt so bouncy they would do a lot better, also I see few no no's when it comes to engineering with the link pos. etc with the bouncers. but that being said. not bad for home grow rigs.. not bad
They will perform a lot better due to shock tuning your not going forward when your in the air and Shannon's car has a independent front end which is a different league to beam axles.
Best "put together" video I've ever seen covering one of these events.
Awesome footage guys and slow motion. Skull Crusher Approved...
The Ultra4 buggies seem to climb this stuff much faster and smoother.

My god the suspension must be extremely expensive.

Ultra4 all the way.
