hi, could u kindly guide how to swap LR 4, 2014 petrol 3.0 V6 supercharged engine with an LS or LT and what all would need to be replaced while doing so
@@cobraworld170 I would rather see them parted out than suffer the indignity of being lumped with a boat anchor. When they're parted out it gives the owners with the financial means and mechanical skill to maintain and repair these XJS's to get hold of the obsolete parts.
Can’t wait for the next episode to drop!!
We can’t either! Been working in a new program and updating all the older videos! Coming soon.
Another nice job!!!
Thanks again Pete!
Do headers not fit?
Something can always “fit” with some work, however to not modify the frame-rails and to get past steering shaft there is very little room.
@Retroformance which brand? Is that some kind of ramshorn? I'm just starting a 4.0 to LT in a '94 xjs

If someone feels like donating a 2014 LR4 for us to swap we would sure like to haha
what kind of rack and pinion are you guys using for conversion?
Thanks for the question! It is actually just the stock rack from the XJ6.
thank you really appreciate it@@Retroformance
Another ruined XJS, shame....
Well seeing as it was on its way to the scrap yard, hard to say “ruined”.
jaguar motors are cool but tough and expensive to maintain, it’s always better to see a classic with a swap then to not see one at all

@@richardp6178 You should be able to pick up a cheap Jag engine from this car to restore and add it to a different car.
