All that money he’s making RUclips videos…😂
Was that a new truck? Lets see a guided tour of JanMobile next time.. :)
I just got kisses by a cow in this video. 😊

Your family is lucky to have you jan your a good man! I actually should say the farm...the COWS lol are lucky to have you good work bud.
Always nice to see your Mom!! Lets see the new truck!!!! Great video.
Somebody has been working out.
Someone mentioned an additional set of spikes. They appear farm made. Could another set on the same bucket move 2 at a time? 👍😎✌
the babies look very well cared for, clean area,GOOD JOB.I GUESS THERE HAPPY AS A BABY COW CAN BE. I AM IMPRESSED ,a city slicker who love his milk.
Good to have a video to watch, I've been looking the last few days, and haven't seen any, or maybe just not looking in right spot. Really missed seeing them, that's all, no pressure as I know you're super busy. You do such a great job on them, actually on everything you do. You have a high standard for quality and workmanship, which is a credit to you! Thank you from Beverley in Ontario :-)
Thanks for a great always interesting video. Your whole family sure works hard.
With the bale problem!! I say, You always learn from your mistakes or problems.
Great finding the broken light assembly you saved time and money.
Show us the new truck! PLEASE
HA 😏. That "whatever it's called" is a " Slow moving vehicle " sign. You see them on all farm equipment on the farm, and you can not drive on public roads without it and flashing lights.
❤️🇨🇦
Triangle
Required to be reflectorized/triangle shaped...by many driving statutes...if equipment is used on publicly funded roads.
Actually the SMV sign and newer tractors going 50km+ is causing quite the debate between farmers and law enforcement in our area. Supposedly, you cannot do over 40km/h (24.8mph) if you have an SMV sign showing, otherwise you'll get charged for either speeding or invalid signage on heavy equipment. They only want the hazard lights flashing if you're intending to do over 40km/h, any slower and SMV must be fixed on the unit
Really silly, because you could easily be taking the tractor to a distant field, going over 40 km/hr (not slow-moving) but then coming back pulling a loaded wagon or farming implement, and going slow.
Lets see the new truck Jan! 5.0? 2.7/3.5 Ecoboost?
Wow, a cameo of THE LADY OF THE FARM, BRAVO 👏
This truck's got Moon Roof! 👍👍
Buddy of mine sent me this video, thats me in the cow truck hauling out fats! Great experience at yalls place, guess im coming back to haul bales in today👍🏻
Let's see new truck
I used to trade my trucks around 80K. One time the salesman asked me Why are you trading today and I looked at him and said The windshield has a crack in it. You should have seen the look on his face. LOL Congrats on a new truck you work hard and deserve it.
ALWAYS like your videos, Jan. Good to see you back milking those fine cows...and all the other things that you are so good at. Nice to see your hard working mom as well. Quite the family. And what about that new truck, I think you had a broken windshield on the last one. Good on you all.
Lots of comments here advising him to replace the cracked windshield. But not if he was planning on trading it in on a new truck! Let the dealers mechanics do that.
No feed = no milk. Keep up the hard work.
Sooo...hand-crafted beef calves! Ouch my back! LOL
Hahaha nice!
Another very interesting video Thank you
Let’s see the new truck
Love your videos as I spent many hours milking
lot of work in your business,THANK-YOU THANK-YOU AS I ENJOY MY TALL GLASS OF COLD MILK WITH A SLEW OF COOKIES, MAYBE A DOUGHNUT OR 2.🍩🍩🍩🍪🍪🐄 MUCH RESPECT TO YOU DAIRY FARMERS,👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wow new truck ?!! Would like to see your new wheels . And congrats you deserve it you’re a hard working guy
🇨🇦

❤️🇨🇦
...or slow moving vehicle triangle reflector...in case the flashers fail....
In Minnesota, we have an alternate version in only black & white -- for Amish/Mennonite farmers who object to the bright colors on the regular one.
🤟🏻🇨🇦👍🏻
Great milking and cleaning system. You and your sisters must make your parents proud. Love ❤ from Ohio USA
Wait I want that all White steer. I wish 😂
Jhan are you practicing for the caber toss or hammer throw?
Add two mores spikes on the sides to help it spread out the load
12:58 when the steer kicks like that, anyone else’s mind yell “Parkour!”? Just me? 😂
LOTTA HAY BALES
I'm pretty sure you have heard this, you're pretty hard on the equipment you probably need to slow down just a bit.
Just saying.
Jan carry calf like its nothing. 💪
And his mom and sis doing the same thing. Girl power!!
Your incredible lucky to find a rear light in suts a big field.👍
Sounds like u guys need a new calf barn
Just a place for the goats.
@@OOpSjm Neline's working on it. She'll be moving the goats to her own farm soon.
See youve been hitting the gym jan 💪💪
What is up brother from the imperial county California 👍👍🇺🇲 and have a great weekend.
Going with my dad hauling cattle was one of my best childhood memory. Used to haul down to Pasco, Washington.
What's this about a new truck?
Great video as usual. A quick question, what does the orange flashing light mean in the milking parlour? Thanks!
It's supposed to indicate that a cow hasn't been scanned into the parlor correctly, but they never set up the feature, so the lights are always flashing.
@@MellowYe77ow Thanks, appreciate it!
@@nickk8762 No problem. Glad that I could help!
NEW TRUCK?! Let's see her, buddy!
Hey dude how's it going? How about showing us your new truck😎😎 . See ya next time .
Looks like y’all need to either clean or replace your floor mats in the milk room.
Am speechless about this milking technology
Milk off
I’d love for a truck tour.
No one mentioning that Jan's biceps are getting huge💪! The lifting is paying off bro!
Thanks for pointing it out. I didn't notice till you said.
i think we need a new truck tour lol
every time I watch these videos, you are working hard, good job,I know your parents are proud, you seem to know what to do
Amazing video Jan! Great to see you milking again. Sweet calves. Hope you get a good price on the steers. Great find of your hazard light. Enjoyed the video. Thanks!
I know she isn't in a lot of your videos, but I absolutely love seeing your mom! She seems so lovable, and I love seeing how the two of you interact.
Your younger sisters just an absolute mess LOL I'm not sure what that means up in Canada but down here in the south that means she is awesome
Must be cooking in that vest. Dad: huh? 😄
Jan it's alright if theres not much milking videos on your uploads as you say there is always somethin to do milking is only part of the story as there are other jobs as well on the farm to do it's not only milking cows when the lagoon is full with liquid manure you'll be busy with that job it's always nice to see the Boss in your videos and it's also nice to see your Mum in your video Wow she's even wearing your merch as well it would be Nice if the Boss man wears your merch as well I do agree with your Mum the goats are just in there temporary as they will go to Nelines New setup then both places can be used for the steers it's Nice to see Neline and Mirjam in your videos I do agree with your idea Jan it's better to Pick the half Broken bale with the wheel loader later as it would be so much easier to do it that way All of yous are also in my prayers Great and interesting video Jan.
How many liters of milk one cow give you per milking?
12-15 liters per day average
They average about 16.5 liters per milking, or 33 liters per cow, per day.
The fact that you ran downstairs to make sure that milk was only flowing to where it should go tells me that this was a “ lesson learned”!
You need 2 spikes on that big bucket...
An enormous amount of water is used on the farm. What is the source? Do you worry about supply?
I believe they have a well.
You can't plan a dairy farm unless you have an unbeatable source of water you can count on year-round and in any weather. Historically, this is the most important criterion for selecting the location of any livestock farm.
In previous videos, I think he's said that they have 2 or 3 wells.
Jan recently showed their main well setup in his farm tour: ruclips.net/video/VihCT2CPBHM/видео.htmlsi=jttMlFlp-Q9uww0t&t=456
@@alisciamarotta3888 Yes of course they have a well or wells or some kind of private access to an aquifer. They use an enormous amount of water every day so a regular well would not come close to meeting their needs.
Wash line = clean in place. CIP sys.
Well done for finding the light fitting, could have been a problem if it got caught up in some equipment.
Interesting to see the calves drinking from a communal trough, does that mean some calves will get more than their fair share?
Do you send the steer wagon over the weigh bridge? That sure is a big vehicle, good thing your roads are mostly straight.
Finally took a little break as far as the videos go Jan’🇺🇸🙏🇨🇦
The cows don't mind you back milking. They say you have good hands and they like you. I don't think it matters where the calves are as long as they have company. Herd animals like company. The haircut looks well on you. The main spear looks a bit short on that bale fork. I'd say from the tail wagging the calves are happy in their new digs. Did someone say "new truck?" Whoever built the bale wagon could have fastened the light better than that. It's called a slow moving sign. Great video. Pax.
You should be proud how clean you keep everything it has to be a job to keep as place that clean.just a city guy but love watching to see where all our milk comes from.
WTH? Jan, where is the new truck? You left us all hanging. Great video as always!
Mom is as awesome as Papa!
I LOVE seen the fat healthy "ladies" Cows have the most beautiful eyelashes. Does "the boss" do the work schedule for the staff on the farm?
LOVE the fact that you are willing to show the ups and downs of farm life. Old farmers still make mistakes, too. Experience is the best teacher.
It’s always good to milk. You can make sure all the cow are healthy and the milking equipment is working properly
Jan it's just an option for the Boss man to wear your merch as they're One flesh as Genesis 2:24 and Ephesians 5:31 says your Mum wearing it means the Boss man wears your merch as well of course he does wear it Amen as they both support you the Boss man can rely on you when he's not around the farm effectively that says it all as the saying goes action speaks louder than words thanks for being my friend as I do like you as you're good for me we both share similar qualities which is good your Mum wearing your merch proves the Boss man does wear your merch it doesn't need to be on Camera for me to Believe it as God says it's more Blessed to Believe without seeing it Jesus said to him Thomas because you have seen Me you have believed Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed John 20:29.
be good to the cows. they are very sensitive clever and cute animals that provide alot of luxury milk, i agree with veganists, but im too weak myself to go there so i try to find the most animal friendly people who also provide good milk from these amazing animals called cows.
how many bales are you using in a week?
A week? In the winter including bedding and feeding we could use 50-60 easily
@@saskdutchkid I was very impressed how many bales you made, but I see when you’re using so many bales you had to collect a lot. Thank for your answering and sharing farm life in Canada, it’s very interesting to follow your life on the farm. God bless you and your family.
Yon; I noticed when the cows walking in to be milk, they favorited one side of the palor, 0:40
when you cows were loaded into the truck, where are they being taken to? You seemed to have skipped that part...
Do you sell the steers on the rail at the packing plant I ran a feedlot in Ault Colorado we had 25,000 ok Holstein steers we sold them on the rail a lot of sorting to get finished steers
Yan, you looked very manly throwing that bedding, until your sister threw one just after you. 😀
Did Neline just deliver a spoiler. Saw the calves being moved on her channel glad to see another side to the move.
I have a nickname for Jan and it is 'Jan, the destroyer of bales' lol
👏🏼
So you are also Goat Farmers , are the Milking Goats ?
It's primarily his sister Neline. She's growing a Boer goat herd to raise for meat. She also has a smaller Nigerian Dwarf goat herd primarily as pets. However, she would like to experiment milking them as well. She recently bought a dilapidated horse farm, with the hopes of moving her goats to later this year. You can see more on her channel: A Dairy on the Prairie.
A busy video love seeing what your up to and can we please see the new truck
Do you ever have any steers not grow enough to get culled and end up living undetected for years on your dime enjoying the good life ?
Z'n naam is Fyodor, als in Dostoevsky.
Fjodder op z'n Nederlands ❤
Are you giving your dad you older F150?
so cool, Rob
The cow sniffing the camura
When seperating/herding the cattle for the packer, try swinging a 6 ft rope, it offers a wider presence, just loop it on a nail to store.
Could order a couple o' Sonne Farms(YT) slappys(long herding sticks with noisy flags at one end)...seem to work well in guiding the cattle on their ranch/farm!?! Link in their description...
how much is a load of steers worth?
GOOD JOB!
Nice looking hair cut Jan!
