- Though he hardly sits at the top of many Seahawks fan lists for their favored next head coach, Mike Vrabel is true option in this great Seahawks search. His strengths would most likely fix many of the weakness that have troubled this team for awhile like a lack of discpline and defensive complexity. Let's look at what Vrabel has to offer.

I'd like Vrabel over most of the other candidates that have been interviewed. Especially Quinn.
Vrabel over Quinn any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
MIKE MACDONALD!!!!!! I got nervous when Ben dropped out of the race, but I can be happy with Mike.
i think i rather have Vrabel than Quinn
Johnson, Macdonald, Vrabel in that order.
Congrats on 15K love the channel GoHawks!!!!💚💙
Thanks, Isaak, it feels really good to hit 15K. Go Hawks!
Great run down. Great channel. Best wishes to you and yours.
Thank you, LS. I appreciate you watching!
Great presentation Brandon.
Thanks, Grubb!
I love Vrabel, great situational football IQ and leader. But ideally I want Ben Johnson.
Congrats on 15K subscribers! Love your content!
Thanks, Dmitry. We're cooking and it feels great!
Got a gut feeling about this one
That was a good sell... I've always liked Mike Vrabel. We should give him a chance.
Recognizing real talent is a skill that comes with experience and this is a good vid along those lines. I suspect that most people who allow themselves to go negative on Vrabel for the reasons you enumerate have absolutely no more hiring expertise than a kid running a lemonade stand in their parents driveway. He's a stud, and if he and JS can work together effectively, he can bring us a winning team against the stiff competition or the Rams and Niners, as well as the rest of the field. It might take a year or two to flush out the "participation trophy" kids on the team and find real competitive spirits, but this is a guy who has demonstrated he can do it.
If Schneider can scout and draft to Pete's bizarre standards, i bet him and Vrabel would work just fine together.
I remember watching the Seahawks game this year and thinking he's the tough DC we need. Never thinking we'd fire Pete, but I think he's the perfect tough to Pete's positive
I want a man who is willing to chop off his own woody to win a championship...I believe Vrabel is that man.
He won me over with that too, lol
So much for Harbaugh! We're going to wish we kept Pete!
I’d be surprised if we got Ben Johnson but even more impressed if Schneider lined that up
Hey Brandon, It's Tuesday and I'm just getting around to watching this video. Harbaugh and Johnson are now off the table. That leaves MacDonald (I think he will pass, but hope he doesn't), Quinn, and Vrabel as the remaining top candidates imo. As you mentioned one of Vrbabel's strengths is finding great/strong OC talent. If JS signs MacDonald, Quinn, or Vrabel, do you think Vrabel has the most potential to draw a strong OC to Seattle? Or can one of the other two draw a better OC? Based on your video, I'm starting to think you might be onto something here. Hire Vrabel and a great OC. But I still really prefer MacDonald or Quinn LOL My brain AND stomach ache! It will be fun to see who JS lands in the next few days. Thanks for the video, Go Hawks!
Mike vrabel is the ultimate players coach. Look at the interviews when the players found out he was fired, the infamous video of him almost having a heart attack or sick when they tols him they were trading aj brown.
Yes to Vrabel 💚💙
Vrabel will teach the 3/4 the war it should be played that's for sure
Vrabel would be my choice of the guys out there.
I would love to have Mike Vrabel in my team for The Seahawks. He'll be a better head coach.
spinning like the national debt clock😆... great imagery 👍
I still want Johnson, but this isn’t a horrible option.
12:39 please no Quinn
My S tier, Mcdonald & Johnson.
A tier, Vrabel
B tier Bill B, Harbaugh ( is more A tier but can't get past his 40whiner past.
C tier, DQ.
cutting edge defense, to me, is as alluring as a cutting edge offense. I trust schneider to make the right decision. He's been dealing with a coach that is stodgy and refuses to modernize his schemes- if he chooses a defensive guy, im sure he'll flush out how creative and cutting edge he's willing to allow his offensive coordinator to be
I think vrabel could be a good here
I want Vrabel.
Patrick Graham is definitely worth a look. Defensive minded coach who seems to understand offensive concepts. Turned the Raidrs defence around. I would love to see John for the fences.
I didnt want another Defensive Coach at first either but it seems thats what the owner is leaning towards hiring. So on that note out of all the coaches they are interviewing he is the best one and id welcome him with open arms. But you also gotta remember that most of the fan base that say they dont want him bcus he was fired are the same ppl who said they didnt want to draft a QB last year and if we did they wanted Brice over CJ and or wanted to keep Geno. So with that said its clear most of this fan base dont onow football. But Mike aint interested in being are coach amd wont even return are calls .so those same ppl will get what they want and we will be stuck with Dan Quin
Good decision making can be the difference between winning and losing. Especially when amplied in playoff atmospheres. While not my first choice, I’d prefer him to Dan Quinn. Still holding out for Mike Macdonald.
It's odd he hasn't gotten an interview yet. I don't know what John's gameplan is but if we wind up with Quinn after all is said and done it's going to feel underwhelming and that's not what were looking for.
We wanted a coach who caters to the strengths of the players not what he wants and his way or no way
any new coach is going to want players that are strong in the way he wants to play football...coaches most often want players that fit their schemes, not scheme around the players....roster will not stay stagnant...expect plenty of change...
The Titans always has been the team that is just one quarterback away from the great team. If John can find him the QB and they hire
great offensive coordinator who can develop the young QB, Mike Vrabel deserves the second chance at head coaching job.
Hurry up and get him Seahawks before he's gone, didn't get my first choice Harbaugh who was the best coach and he will win in LA, lucky he is not in the NFC but I think years from now the Seahawks will regret that but Schneider was never going to hire him, whoever we pick I'm gonna be closely comparing what our coach does to Harbaugh over the upcoming years, Schneider better hit a home run.
Heard on Seahawks Today Chat that Vrabel is out on the Seahawks. Anyone know if that is BS or not?
I haven't heard that, though he's also not being mentioned as a prime candidate either, at least not yet.
"tough love approach" he wouldn't put up with Meltdown Metcalf bs for even half a second 😂😂😂. That'd be the only personality i can think of offhand that might clash, but I bet they'd find common ground pretty quick if he got hired.
They said keeping the culture is important. He would destroy the type of culture they have. He comes from New England. Very different mindset with culture
Can he teach them to tackle?
I would think so. His Titans teams sure tackled well.
On some real Shi what are true chances we get Ben Johnson or Mike MacDonald as hc I swear I don’t want anybody else
I would prefer Vrabel over Quinn
..🤔
Me too
I would never say he’s the right person for the Seahawks. We need an offensive minded head coach that’s innovative. We need Ben Johnson to take the hawks to the next level.
Ben Johnson prob going to the commanders
exactly...with a defensive HC you have to hire a new OC every year...0 continuity
Would definitely have us playing respect worthy football up front, which would be welcomed
I think I like him the most out of the candidates you've named so far.
Culture shock will probably be the biggest drawback, but the teams lack of discipline under Pete has always annoyed me and a shake up could change that. Hopefully with Pete hanging around as an advisor the changes could be made without completely burning bridges with players.
Pete outta there man
I like Vrabel I just thought he would like to go to a place that had a more solid QB situation. Not too much improvement from what he had in TN. Maybe if he like a QB that we can go after in the draft he might come here. All in all I am not apposed
I get where your coming from in terms of Geno and Ryan both older QBs and no young franchise guy in place but trust me any coaching candidate would want to come in to a HC vacancy with a roster full of talent that was getting underutilized like this one.
Vrable no, I rather take Patrick Graham
“Fan base” … if your fan base determines anything I guarantee you’ll be shit as a team
No thanks to Vrabel. Macdonald or Johnson would be best.
Johnson is pretty much gone the Commanders seem like his destination from Nfl insiders
