its been out of hand. Carbon Fiber is like Billet from the 90s. It was everywhere you looked. Diamond plate in the 80s. At least Carbon Fiber will stand up over time, but waaaay too much of it on these cars

I would love for you to come to my shop and see the amount of work that goes into making carbon fiber parts. It ain’t easy. But.. Yes, It can be overdone but after doing it yourself from scratch you appreciate the craft and it really is an art form. China is what ruins it by selling 3m cheap carbon parts. Which is all you see on amazon and ebay unfortunately.

Minor Carbon fiber touch ups is what I love, skirts, small interior pieces, something you've gotta really look into the details to see.

Valid points. I guess Stradman didn't get the message.... he just made his entire Aventador carbon fiber...it's a bit overkill. And I don't think it made the car better.
Don’t forget that’s a previously crashed car bought specifically to customise,although overall I think most body kits look terrible anyway.

You can't knock a e92 m3 with the carbon roof, mirrors,grill, lip, side skirts and diffuser.

To be honest I liked strads carbon Aventador, and his usual bright "look at me" color schemes isnt my cup of tea. But I have to agree when it comes to everyone slapping on carbon fiber stuff on top of the OEM panels.. Since the main objective of CF is rigidity and to save weight - its completely pointless. But funny enough it was the manufacturers themselves who started this when they made full exposed body CF and jacked the price up by a million or two - ofc every STI or Civic owner wants their car to look like a p1 then

stick on carbon fiber in general. If you replace the hood, trunk and fenders in carbon, I think you will gain some performance, 100 to 200 lbs in weight reduction is worth it

Carbon fiber body panel's are nothing but a waste of money.. if it's just a supercar carbon fiber is dumb.. now if its a drag car that you only race at the track, then yea it helps with weight. That's like people getting Alcantara inside., all it is a synthetic leather. is very cheap, car company's love to sell you Alcantara..😂 they know the suckers going to want extra carbon and fake leather.
