The video makes sense really because what people get excited and get a rush from is seeing them half naked you get a good view of all of them half naked which isn't always so and JunJi wearing a top but his arms are showing is also different, it's always the visuals that get people excited first same with other idols how they look then song music and dance
Sometimes I feel like I get a little disappointed if something labeled a 'music video' is really just a glorified choreography video, but I honestly feel like OnlyOneOf could release a video shot in a dimly lit basement of them all just standing there and I'd still eat it up lol I absolutely love this song! It does exactly what it's meant to: it puts me in a good mood and it's addicting, it gets stuck in my head all the time. For me, at least, I feel like OOO just never miss. They've yet to release anything (at least in recent years) that I have not been absolutely in love with. And, yes, Junji is definitely my bias too haha!
If it was a song like Mad World then yeah, I would be expecting a story telling video but with videos like this it isn't necessary. I personally love the simplicity of this video. It says everything visually and whacks a punch from start to finish. Putting a background video to it may have lessened the impact and distracted from the dopamine hit we get just watching the choreo.
This is the kind of video that most companies label as performance videos and not just a MV. if you ever get the chance, see them in concert. Went to Atlanta in April to see them and the performance was exactly this choreography. Planning on going to see them again, I had so much fun seeing them live!
i think it's quite clear that they simply didn't have budget for a different mv they didn't even change location once hhh i don't mind having no plot tho as long as i'm engaged i'm good and i always have fun watching the dopamine mv, the dance is really engaging and all the members are very charismatic performers and seeing as they so rarely do these sort of mvs it still feels refreshing in a way
I think there is a way of searching through my videos on RUclips. But I try to keep my Playlist use to a minimum or it's gonna get real crowded real quickly. Lol Thanks for watching :)
