Does seem like a very fair price - but appears from the map you showed at 3:21 there is more swamp land other than 58 acres? 1/2 of the top parcel is swamp and the 2d/bottom parcel looks mostly swamp--would be difficult to get much wood out if you get to that area on the right that looks well filled in with good wood. Guess you'd have to try to walk the property - definitely a hunters paradise.
Beautiful property. I like that you said neighbors taking care of neighbors. A rare thing these days. Someone will really enjoy this property. Thanks for the tour Spencer, Chili, & Stump!😁
If your property is enrolled in the program you have a management plan that indicates when you propose to do a commercial timber harvest. That timeline is determined by you and your licensed forester to be appropriate for the age and condition of your forest. Yes you can still harvest your own timber for firewood, which may be part of your plan for timber stand improvement.
Love the beaver pond, with the potential of going deeper, but I'd like to know how much of the property is buildable, as the property lines are a bit awkward.
Awesome! At less than $1,000 per acre that's a steal!
Thanks for sharing.

@@lifestyleproperties You bet !
is the bever pond a protected wet land or is just because beaver dam it up. Could be made into a deeper pond and made smaller ?
The State of Maine does not allow much disturbance of wetlands.
NICE

No one can build close to you because of the wet land area
Thanks for posting the asking price. The border lines of the property are strange, but all in all very nice.
Thanks for sharing John.

Thanks for sharing @Scott Croteau
About 5 hours north of Boston
Right on!
Wondering when it was last harvested.
When your property is in the tree growth program in Maine, can you still cut down your own trees if you own that property for lumber and firewood?
