I believe this particular live performance is from last years christmas concert. There is always a segment of the concert where KO showcases his cello beatboxing skills. Actually the segment includes Matt Sallee as well on the drums. Scott usually takes lead to introduce PTX members at the beginning of the show and KO segment. Hes soooo good at it with his infectious personality.
I loved how Scott told the story of how they found Kevin and how they met. I was memorized when I first saw it. Kevin is truly amazing and a gift to all. I love your energy, and I am so glad I found you here.
This was a full PTX concert about in the middle. After this, the trio, Scott, Mitch and Kirstin, did a short three part song, then Matt and Kevin came back for the second half of the show. The finale was Hallelujah, and the encore was an off-mic version of "My Heart with You" followed by "Bohemian Rhapsody." I saw Kevin's fifth live in concert twice, and he got two standing ovations each time. The first time, Kevin was sick and was playing live, but offstage on screen for the entire show. His talent and energy were so on fire it didn't matter that he wasn't physically present, we were all on our feet.
Sorry to say this but I’m so jealous of you right now 😂. I just need to attend 1 concert . I’ll be excited 😀. Thanks for sharing this :’ much appreciated
@@mkayandnkayreacts5329 They are such a big part of my enjoyment in life I have made their concerts non-negotiable. If I can get there, I will get there, lol. I hope you'll have a chance to, also!
Your joy at watching this is contagious! Did you know Kevin has his own RUclips channel...KO ( Kevin Olusola) where he loops all his cello, keyboard, beatboxing and singing together. It's fantastic. We fans are so lucky that these 5 young people all got together at some point in their lives and made this awesome group with all this incredible talents they have and gives us all so much joy and wonder.
The joy in your face made my heart sing. I had been impressed with Kevin's talent since I started my PTX journey, but when I saw this video a year ago... 🤯 Yes, intelligence is very sexy and intriguing to me! And Kevin's got one of the most brilliant minds I've ever come across. His intelligence isnt "single minded", like one that studies a certain discipline... he his MULTI-Disciplined! And Brilliant!
Now you know why its a 20 minutes reaction. It is not the end of the show, just an intermission for the vocals to take a break. It is part of the Pentatonix's show while on tour. The 90 minutes to 2 hours --- and fans have posted it all on RUclips and TicTox. Kevin played at Carnegie Hall twice before joining PTX. They completed their first 10-year plan with great success. Now they are working on the next 10-year plan which includes more colabarations and some instruments. They are all growing older, Kevin, Matt and Scott are married. Kevin has a toddler (mother's day he showed his baby girl with grandma) and Kevin was giving Kirstin parenting advice before her daughter was born. Kirstin has shown off her 18-month girl both in rehearsals and during the tour. She is engaged to Ben, their videoagrapher and the father. No official announcement yet, but Kevin's ceremony included traditional African culture. Matt's was 2nd in January of 2022 with all 5 and on RUclips. Scott's wedding was such a production with song and dance. It's all online everywhere and Scott released his own album dedicated to Mark. Kevin's genius doesn't end, he also speaks Mandarin language fluently. His arraignment of "O Come All Ye Faithfull" shows his talents while paying respect to his parents heritage from Africa.
If you would like to see them in the studio, you should react to the short documentary of The Recording of Evergreen. These guys are geniuses and they respect and care for each other. It's very evident in the documentary.
