Kevin is surely a genius. He's not only a beatboxer extrordinaire, but a masterful cellist and plays sax, keyboard AND sings. He does all of that on his YT channel, KO. He also does a great deal of songwriting with the group, He and Avi wrote Love Again and Run To You. He's helped write many of the songs on the new album and The Lucky Ones. And as a member of the group, he naturally has a say in the arrangements which everybody has input about. Oh...and he has perfect pitch, too. And did I mention he's a really nice human being? Has a lovely wife and sweet daughter? Plus he has a totally contagious laugh.
Kevin is an absolute anomaly! True genius! And seems to be a genuinely nice dude as well! I love that they have the obligatory "scott brags about kevin" intro always. Because he deserves to be bragged about and would not do it himself! Imagine being his parents and hearing an arena chant his name!
One of these days Kevin's cello is actually going to burst into flames. 🔥In addition to Yale, and cello-boxing, he also spent exchange student time in China, and speaks Mandarin Chinese. He does a podcast called "Imagine Faith" and is deeply spiritual. All hail King Kevin!
Saw Kevin perform this and more at the Hollywood Bowl and at Denver! No words to describe how mesmerizing! So in awe of his talent not to mention what an outstanding human he is. Beyond inspiring!
I was lucky enough to see this Christmas tour in Indy. Kevin is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! It is so crazy to hear Kevin do what he does live, That was the 3rd time I have seen them in concert. They are AMAZING....
I witnessed the genius that IS Kevin O (always mess up last name) in person in Greensboro NC on the 17th of December. Matt was in there hitting those drums!! He(Kevin) was via live feed because of illness. He didn't skip a beat! They are All such professionals! My best friend and I had the times of our lives! (Did I mention I'll be 60 in Feb?) Never too old, LIVE LIFE YOUNGSTERS!!! Love your channel and great reactions, Adogg! Keep up the great work! 👍❤️
I was there and they did a great job of it. I caught of few screenshots of what it looked like if anyone wants to see it. ruclips.net/video/OuF6IEsaZ1U/видео.html You're right: He didn't miss a beat at any point. He must have been nearby and within range of those in-ear devices that they wear. He didn't look or act sick. I'm guessing he tested positive but had no symptoms?
Kevin, Matt and the dancers were all excellent. Thank you for reacting to Kevin's segment of the concert. Glad that you enjoyed it. Kevin is King. Must be nice to be so multi-talented and to be such an amazing human.
It literally brings a tear to my eye. It’s so gorgeous and magical and the modern spin doesn’t detract from the classical nature of the original piece. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
Was so psyched to see them on the last date of their Christmas tour this year. He got standing ovations for each piece he performed. It was a fantastic concert despite Kirstie having to perform remotely as she was sick (that was an amazing technical feat).
Kevin had to perform remotely when I saw them in NC on Dec 17th. The theory is that they were performing from within the building as there was no delay or latency at all. I think they probably tested positive for COVID and had to be quarantined. Still a great show.
That was incredible! Thank you for reacting to this! I love that his talent is appreciated by his band mates so much, to give him an entire section of the show to perform.
I am glad they do too or no one would get to see this live. He is the only person on the planet who can do this and where else is he going to do it live? I am glad his part of the show is expanded. Time was, he only did the full version of first song.
Saw this in December in Charleston, South Carolina. Fantastic!! The whole Pentatonix concert was great but Kevin was the highlight. Go see them when they come close to you.
I love watching him! He tips his head back a bit and smiles and just shreds the cello! Can you shred a cello? Anyway I really like and admire Kevin. He walked away from Yale and into our lives, so glad he did! Watched every second Adogg, thank you!
This was a great reaction. Watching your genuine enjoyment of the music and his incredible talent is why we watch. I totally agree with the previous comment. His parents must have been beaming with pride. He said in an interview, he couldn't ever afford to go there growing up. Now he is performing there Pretty incredible. Hope and joy to all .
Kevin might be an advanced human from the future sent back to show us our potential. Or Kevin could be the DaVinci of our time. Kevin is such a true genius and a musical genius. He has so many talents in him I can't believe he hasn't self-combusted. Can play multiple instruments, sing, beatbox, write, compose, speaks multiple languages, perfect pitch, as if that wasn't enough, he was pre-med at Yale. He is also a humble and wonderful human. Maybe when he is done making music, he can cure cancer and broker world peace.
Oh this is incredibly hard to do and not many people in the World can do it. Think of playing the drums, piano, cello at the same time with your mouth for long stretches of time......every part has a different rhythm or tempo, and you have to keep it all going in 1 brain....playing an instrument and keeping time by itself on a professional level is hard...what he does is insane.
I got to see them in Memphis in December. We had a special guest for that last piece. It's uploaded here if you wanna check it out: ruclips.net/video/56je9mI77UQ/видео.html

@@mmg8823 That's what we were thinking, that he must have just tested positive. It was a great concert!
I was fortunate to see them in NC in December. They put on an amazing show.

Kevin Olusola - Sign of the times
He’s amazing ❤️
Kevin is magnificent at what he can do which is pretty much anything he puts his mind to. Matt accompanying him on the drums was also amazing!✌️❤️🇨🇦

Wow, Kevin! What a talent!
I don't think alot of people know how incredibly hard it is to play a cello or any instrument and to beat box.
I saw this live. It was incredible! This man’s talents are beyond measure! ❤️

Your smile always makes my day 😊

WoW!!
He could do a show by himself.

I swear I can't walk and chew gum at the same time 😫
Do you think Beethoven turned in his grave? Or strained to hear better?
If Beethoven turned in his grave, it was to get up for a standing ovation
