INWOOD is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan, at the northern tip of Manhattan Island, in the U.S. state of New York. It is bounded by the Hudson River to the west, Spuyten Duyvil Creek and Marble Hill to the north, the Harlem River to the east, and Washington Heights to the south.
Inwood has a predominantly Dominican population, especially in the areas east of Broadway; it has the highest concentration of residents of Dominican descent in New York City. Hispanic residents make up 74 percent of Inwood's population as a whole, according to census data. Nearly half of the residents were born outside the US.

Fort Tryon Park is a gem Julien, park with a million views of the city from above, beautiful natural balcony! The end of this walk at The Met Cloisters was a great idea - amazing medieval-inspired corner of The Met Museum and piece of old Europe in New York with a high brick walls and Gothic Revival buildings. Thanks for a walk mon amie, have a great rest of August and beginning of September! 🗽✨🍎

Cloisters is very cool but would of been nice for you to actually go to Inwood Hill Park and the surroundings there.

Born and raised on Post Ave and Dyckman St, no one ever goes down Post ave on these walking tours.
Midtown Manhattan and also Downtown Manhattan is great no doubt.
But Upper Manhattan especially Inwood is the best place to LIVE in New York.
