- In today's video, we take a look at the NEW (2021) HIKMICRO Gryphon Fusion Thermal & Optical Monocular.
The Gryphon Fusion Monocular introduces many unique features including ground-breaking bi-spectrum, Fusion technology which uses a thermal sensor alongside a conventional optical camera to deliver a super-detailed thermal image.
You can use the Gryphon in several distinct image modes including a conventional thermal monocular with the choice of 4 colour palettes, highly detailed daylight & night vision optical camera or the unique Fusion mode which uses the detail from the optical channel to boost the definition and detail of the thermal image.
The Gryphon chassis also introduces a range of new features. These include a jog wheel that allows you to scroll the magnification up and down as you would with a conventional optical scope, an optional laser range finder and a removable 18650 battery. The large 1024x768 OLED display gives you a bright and crisp view of your surroundings that’s easy on your eye.

Set up in my garage. Sure comes in handy. Works great
That's good to hear!
Torn between this and the axion 2 35.......awaiting comparison,/footage
Can't wait till this filters down to a scope 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for your explanation
One question I just got the gryphon lrf
One question the batteries are 18650 ,,, 3500 mah
Can I use any 18650
Example 18650. 5800 mah 3.7
Or should it only be 3.6 v
Thanks
id be very interested to see some GH25L footage and a introduction of the T-Vision app
The optical camera at daylight why not colour? Thx
hello, what would be the the more affordable hikmicro monocular to spot and watch owls ?
We have an innovation in 2021 with a plastic bridge between the buttons.
But does fusion use IR? Because for me, the entire point of thermal is to get rid of the red glow from IR that scares a lot of animals away
So this would be the AGM Ts35 384 Fusion you showed then correct, for the American market
Torn between this and the infiray FH25R 🧐
Hallo, good explanation thanks.
It seems, the two images from the thermal and optical components do not line up perfectly. Maybe it‘s the short distance.
Cheers.
The firmware has a menu where you can specify the range you mostly use it at which aligns the two images better for that range. It is not possible for them to align at every range because of the height difference of the two lenses on the front. A bit like the parallax setting on a scope when set to one distance works over a range either side of that distance.
Got one coming this week!
@@MrTench8 Could this be the reason the image does a "freeze" for a millisecond if you go from long range to super close range? (just bought a used HIKMICRO Gryphon Fusion gql35 LRF and it sounds like its adjusting the lense but i want to be sure its in peak condition and its not a technical fault on the spotter)
@@mumfi3400 That momentary freeze of the image is the thermal sensor recalibrating to the min and max heat signals it can see so as to always provide the best definition between different temps. Perfectly normal, they all do it. I have the GH35 non LRF, brilliant tool!.
@@MrTench8 Thank you for enlightening me, i appreciate that info :) Looking forward to testing it for real on this evenings deer hunt!
Ok this out does pulsars… just with 640 12um
No. Pulsar is a pretty good 640x480 12um thermal imager.
But here you have an even more powerful 640x512 12um + nightvision.
No, Pulsar doesn't do that...
Yes referring to the fusion’s type. Wish to get these (brand) in US
Fusion looks good but shame the thermal and optical images are not aligned. Really made it look terrible. Also this wont function at all at night as the optical image wont have a picture to work with...
Hello friend, Nice to meet you! May i know are you interested in the latest thermal riflescope for hunting?
"In order to make a recording, you need to press Laser Finder and Menu buttons" it's a super bad thing those combos.
