I have a bunch of Graphic 45 Xmas paper left over in my stash - these card versions would be great to use up those leftovers. Wish there was a list of all the dimensions used as I had to play and replay to catch all the measurements, no big deal just would be helpful. Great seeing you put this altogether. Stunning cards, Kathy. Tfs.
Hi, LulaRoe Peggy Joyce! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I always watch tutorials with a notebook by my side so I can write down dimensions as they are mentioned. Thanks for the suggestion!

I wanted to tell you that I was able to create the most beautiful birthday card for my daughter using your tutorial. Thank you so much. I can hardly wait to send it to her. Hard to believe my first born will be 51. Time flies.
Oh, Mary! Thank you so much for sharing that with me! That just makes my day!
Beautiful cards! I am making the 2nd card but I am having trouble getting the card to stand. When I stand it up, it flops down. Is there something I'm not doing to get the card to remain standing? Thanks so much!
Hi, Scrapdoll! Thank you so much! The only thing I can think of is that maybe you didn't use heavy enough cardstock for your base??? It's hard to really know what is going on as I was not with you when the card was being made. Maybe try a 100# cardstock for the base next time and see if that helps!
kwclement No it's not the card stock because I used 110 lb from Michaels. The problem was it didn't line up on the bottom so that it could actually stand. Even though I followed the directions and lined up the top card as shown, something went wrong. Just not sure what. Lol.
Wow, I wish I had seen you make it, because then I could maybe help. I'm so sorry that happened! I've not had this feedback from anyone else so far...so maybe it was a fluke???
kwclement I probably just missed something you did to make it stand correctly. I'll watch again and then hopefully I will figure it out. 😊
Your cards are beautiful and very dimensional. How do you give them? Do you make envelopes, boxes, or as is?
That's a great question and it's one people often ask me. If I am mailing, I wrap them in tissue paper, tie with a ribbon and place in a bubble mailer. They do just fine in the mail. Since the card IS the gift, I don't mind paying the extra postage this requires. If presenting in person, I either wrap in tissue paper and tie with a bow, or I place in a clear bag tied with a bow. I have also created my own dimensional boxes for the cards. Thanks for the kind words, and happy crafting!
Hi Kathy! I’m new to your channel, but I love it! You are a very talented designer and a very good teacher! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!! Quick question, that Majestic Oval die is now discontinued and is around $40-$80 to buy! EEK! that’s a bit more than I think is reasonable for a die set, would you be able to recommend another die set that would work well for that application?
Hi, Stephanie! I did not realize Spellbinders had retired that die. I took a quick look at their website and I think this Nestabilities Elegant Ovals would be a great option. Here's the link: shrsl.com/zlmi. So glad you enjoyed the tutorial and I really appreciate your kind comment! Happy crafting!
Stephanie Taylor I hope it's OK with Kathy if I tell you about dies from AliExpress.com There are so many "spin off" dies on their site at dirt cheap prices. Just type in Oval cutting dies in the "I'm shopping for area. I just bought the boy pulling the sled today for $1.78 if you would like more info email me at .....123lorippp@gmail.com
Perfect for the grands!
Yes, a wonderful way to present a monetary gift! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! Merry Christmas!
There is a children's book about a gingerbread boy that runs away and my granddaughter is in love with the book, so the graphic of a little girl making gingerbread cookies is perfect. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Wow! How perfect is that? Have fun making this special card for your sweet granddaughter!
Lovely tutorial. Can you tell me the spellbinder number for the last z fold card please Cathy. Thank you hugs Jackie
Those are both Susan Sowell dies, Jax. I don't know the die number, but if you go to Spellbinders and search Susan Sowell, you can find all her dies there. It might be retired by now as this video was posted quite a long time ago. Good luck!
So beautiful
Thank you so very much, Betty! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial!
Nice cards, love the papers. But are they fun?
Why, yes, as a matter of fact, they are.
Kathy I love your creations! Could you tell me what kind of magnets you use? I have some disc magnets but they don't have much "oompf" underneath G45's heavy card stock. Thank you and wishing you a very blessed Christmas!
Thank you so much, roomiesbride! I use Basic Grey small or large magnets. I find them on Joann.com, but I think you can get them in other places, too. Hope that helps! Cheerio!
How beautiful. You are very taented.
Thank you so much, Michele! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial! Happy Crafting!
Det er meget smukke kort , jeg elsker dem 🤗🇩🇰😀
Thank you!
