I remember this Eurovision when Ruslana won, it was the same year when my Mom died in 2004, I was crying, messed up, dark in my head, angry, and I was blaming myself that Mom died because of me and I've heard Ruslana, the sound of the music and music alone started to get to me, and I didn't want to be happy but I've heard too my passed Mom's voice in my head, and like She told me: sing, dance, I was 11 years old and like She wanted me to live, to enjoy myself and I thought that I didn't have a right to smile, and I was listening further Ruslana's song I was singing, dancing and her song helped me to feel lighter for a moment, as my Mom wanted me to and I felt that my Mom was smiling and maybe laughing cause I was funny while singing and dancing while watching Ruslana on TV, I felt my Mom's presence with me for a moment and when song ended I thanked my Mom and I told Her that I missed Her and loved Her and always will and that I was sorry for everything, for every moment that I've made hard on her, or when I've hurt her or was mean or whatever, I thanked my passed Mom or her ghost that She was with me at the moment and that I could share it with Her. It was very painful year 2004 and 5 years later Granddad died, and about 7-8 years ago my Grandma and my Dad was an alcoholic, I was alone in the room when I was watching Ruslana, dad was sleeping from drinking too much but I've had this one moment that Ruslana connected me again with my passed Mom
That year the 🇬🇷 entry came second in the publics decision before the final behind this song which is amazing considering the popularity of ruslanas song. She totally deserved that victory🇺🇦🇺🇦. That years TOP 3 were amazing The only years with better TOP 3S was 2015 and 2023
