Okay so really thinking about it, here are some changes I'd like to see
* You can buy all movement, but only equip/use 3 of them. You need to pay 10 orbs or something to swap.
* Pay to use/unlock eco.
* Add movement like Dive, ledge grab, Uppercut to purchase list.
* Purchase jump for Flut flut and Zoomer serparately.
* Purchase health slots (start with 1 or 0).
* All resets at first time coming to new hub.
this is a very intreating modification having your abilties locked behind fake paywalls of orbs certainly makes you think outside the box on how to get the orbs needed GG
So this explains why Jak can speak on the second game. He just bought the speak command 🤔🤔
Gyser rock at night is so comforting. In my ideal life I would love to live somewhere like that. It’s just so dreamlike and relaxing.
The title had me skeptical but after you explained I’m very excited to watch, what an awesome idea from HimHam! (probably spelled that wrong) Open GOAL has really brought new life to this fantastic game we all dig so much

Would’ve been cool if there were purchases for the eco too. Like blue eco you only get the magnet and machine effects but no speed. Green heals you but doesn’t give us. Fourth hit, red gives you range but no strength, and yellow gives you the ability to shoot but only through first person and you have to buy the punch shot.
Launching the video I thought it was 6 orbs *per* jump. Christ would that be a horrible challenge

i wonder what it'd be like if you purchased a certain number of moves. like 100 jumps for 6 orbs, and when you've used them up you gotta pay up to get more
This run displayed the tremendous IQ and tactics of Josh what a God run lmao.
OpenGoal is amazing. Can't wait for someone to really start adding to the game. Like restoring Yosemite, maybe adding new areas all together. Revamping it so it's like a whole new experience

I assumed it was going to be where every jump cost X coins. So you had to limit the number of jumps. But I see that being terrifyingly difficult.
If you buy the season pass you can play Daxter
eh it kinda stopped being as cool when he had a thousand orbs to spend for moves but he just limited himself arbitrarily
hopefully in a later version the orbs in the parethesis get reset along with the moves
Sad I missed this one. This would be super interesting to see how multiple people handle it.

this, but orb randomiser too
Near the end, when you went back for extra orbs, you were going by bottom orb count, and didn't realize that since you bought a 100 orb move, 1000 became the new 0, so you could've afforded the extra ability much earlier on, and actually could've had one more at the end.
Also, if you could've chosen between the two, a punch would've let you use yellow eco without aiming.

This could honestly make for a really interesting routing for a speedrun.
If someone sees this, how do I make the precursor values for most moves not 9999? In the video most of them, like punch, are set to 100. I know that the mod was updated to be at all 9's as a challenge, but I don't know if I'm still able to get the release shown in the video. I'd like to try it, but there's not really anywhere to look this kinda thing up.

Really interesting concept, i think the moves are too cheap though. Roll jump really needed to cost at least 10 power cells plus 200 orbs
Next iteration of this will probably be something like: "Every Jump, Punch, Spin and Roll costs one orb."
The part in snowy made me want to see a olaythrough where everything has ice physics.

i loved these games, the first one is a classic beyond words
the other ones are okay but the first was so original and epic and great characters and jokes.
i had no idea there was such a modding community behind it!
Why would you download an emulator? That's fine, but there are no mods for the PS2 or PS3 versions of the game.

Oh man, I'm at the point he bought the power cells. With the prices, there are technically not enough orbs in the game to buy every move AND every cell. Gotta give up on one of either.
they should make you buy Daxter. Unless you purchase him, his model is invisible and his voice lines are muted.

An idea: if Daxter doesn't do the same animation when collecting a power cell, reset.
sounds like infinite resets in geyser haha, power cell animations aren't RNG so you'd probably get stuck really early on..

This is the most entertaining run I’ve seen, ever. Opengoal is doing wonders for this game, and of course you have the charisma to make the most of it.
