Conclusion is the moment you drop your phone from a normal hight and it lands on a corner like they tend to do you will end up with a cracked protector. It’s very rare that we drop a metal object from any hight onto our phone
I had the same initial thought, and then I looked at his indexing and notes... and its better than his conclusion.. its the raw data which speaks for itself.
Thank you for helping us out 🙌❤️ Also for those who still are figuring out which protecter to get, I’d say 8:44 Power Theory, 51:56 Benks Glass, and 57:20 Spigen. These three screen protectors passed the drop test successfully
super helpful video, thanks a lot! A small suggestion: it is not super fair to use pre-used screen protectors underneath the one you're testing... we can't really know if what that protector underneath is simulating (i.e. the actual phone's screen!) was actually damaged or not. When you tested the Benks, you said you would re-test with a "fresh" protector underneath but then you said that that protector had been used last year and that explained the small breakage. Feels a little bit biased and of couse, I did not choose Benks because I had reasonable doubt of the accuracy and faithfulness of the test. Besides that, super helpful, I did follow your links to support your channel, thanks!
I would also add that testing this on a hard stone surface is also unrealistic. The screen on any phone will give under an impact and each phone will be different based on the internals and the off-axis stiffness of the phone. A hard wood like oak might be more realistic, however even something like that would be inaccurate due to the grain. The test is a good way to verify the impact resistance from product to product. It just doesn't really tell you if it will protect the phone screen from cracking. Excellent video though.
@@arcticfoxstudios2018 What I would also add to that, is the weight of the ball. I mean, testing direct, small impact-area cracking with 68 gramms, while the phone weighs 240, seems a little unfair. Albeit, great video, and great, consistent testing methodology.
What an excellent video, thanks for all the time and trouble you took. I’m in Thailand, waiting for delivery of my 14 Pro, and not many screen protecters available here. I’ve ordered a Benks GlassWarrior, Sapphire coated from the US with a 10% discount and only $2.99 shipping. Wouldn’t have had a clue without your vid 🙏🏼😬✌
How is your Benks GlassWarrior holding up? Is it just as good as the Benks screen protector featured in this video? Or better? I would love to know your thoughts. I'm having trouble deciding which Benks protector I should get.

The pill cut out is worse than the normal screen protector. You should just get the normal one because it protects the dynamic island and doesn’t let dust get into the notch. It’s also just uncomfortable to have a weird hole in the screen protector. Hope my answer helped you! 😊
Hey sir! I watched a lot of your Videos. I bought a s23 ultra and uag monarch pro case. My question is now can i use Additional a tempered glass screen Protector to the uag monarch pro ? Or maybe its not needed? Thanks a lot in advance !!!
Hello, awesome video, just exactly what i was looking for. I like the WSKEN Privacy Glass Screen Protector. What case was used with this screen protector. Thanks
@@deatoull That‘s what I was wondering about as well. It’s why I went for the the Zagg Glass XTR2. I imagine constantly rubbing one’s fingers against the Dynamic Island cutout isn’t too comfortable.
@@jakegray5444 the cut out at the top of the screen protector doesn’t match the dynamic island. Just get a full screen protector with no cuts at the top
No cut outs because there isn’t really any noticeable difference in front camera quality and it’s also uncomfortable for the notch to be there. Also, the full one protects the Dynamic Island and doesn’t let dust in the notch. Hope my answer helped! 😁
Quick question, with full screen protectors the first and the last are the ones I would go with, is the smudge free feature on front camera of original screen lost upon installing them? Since the new app dock feature is used often and may lead to smudges on screen protector? Thanks for the great video, you narrowed down some great options. Anyone having feedback they can share on this feel free to weigh in.
Great question and thank you for your support! Both of the screen protectors have an oleophobic coating which helps with fingerprint rejection. So you will still have a somewhat smudge free dynamic island.
Hi Nice video, thanks. BTW, should we be concerned about the camera lens too? As I see some models have Camera Lens Protector too, such as amFilm comes with it. Any thoughts?

Just got my 14 pro max 2 days ago and watched this video I usually get the zagg but this time I went with the spigen. A much better bang for your buck considering it’s $15 and it comes with 2 and also passed the crack test completely. The zagg is much more expensive less durable and only comes with 1. The spigen covers the selfie camera but I see no real difference in picture quality
In your opinion, what’s the best tempered glass screen protector for resisting fingerprints? Based off of this video I ordered the roocase and installed it just today and it’s already picking up fingerprints! Please let me know.
I wonder about the Uminy Privacy screen protector.. It doesn't have the tiny cutout at the top where the speaker is. Does it cause any issues with sound projection from that speaker, since it's a bit covered?
Excellent video, had to subsscribe.Just got the 14 Pro Max and went for a Zagg Glass XTR2 screen protector. Was expensive at $60, hope it’s as good as they claim as far as being their strongest ever impact protection. The Spigen protector you tested looked very good.

What about the Belkin screen protector? Thats the one they used when I bought my phone from the apple store. I had Zagg on my last phone. It only lasted two weeks and I didn’t even drop my phone
There are two glass protectors I am considering: the Spigen and the Zagg. As far as I am concerned, it is always better to keep your lens clear in order to give them the best chance of performing at their best. However, I read many complaints that the iPhone 14 serie's front screen scratches quite easily. I do not want to risk scratching my front camera, so therefore I went with the spigen, full coverage protector
I had a Zagg and it was awful, dust keep collecting on the sides of it and it had a bubble I could never get rid of on the bottom left corner. I bought an AmFilm and it’s so much better, the dynamic island stays clean now too.
dang i have the ferilinso and it ended up being the worst out of all 3 privacy screens lol the lenses are nice tho, but you just have to learn to accept the glare its inevitable with any lense protector i've found
The ball drop test.. should probably use a new protector for every drop, you see what broke that glass was not the ball hitting it that one time from nearly 9 feet high, its all 8 drops prior what broke it, so a brand new protector could have survived a ball drop from 12 or 13 feet or more.. lolol just saying
I wish there was a conclusion instead of me noting everything down
All the notes are in the video description
Disregard where it says "higher # the better" though, because that's false. He listed them in the order he tested them & not how well they function
Basically they are all the same. Just get one and move on.
