    Hi, appreciate your videos.
    Please keep the original copyright notice when making a variant of the board though.

      Specially since you leaned heavily on the base board and are using the Open Inverter videos.

    Thankyou for this video, and thankyou for describing how the ESP module connects to the computer. I've been afraid of using modules up to this point for that reason, so now I'm going to give it a go! :)

      I am glad you found this useful. Check my other video about ESP32 programming it may be useful for you too

    Ed love your work, I'll email for a tested populated board or two. It would be great if some of the extra Zombie features are in this board, so one does not need to buy an additional Zombie, maybe a smaller board with I/O for pwm, heater, coolant pumps, etc...

    You don't need to tin the pads before using solder paste. The paste goes directly on the board and then the component.

      I have seen laptop repair people doing it. The idea is when the board was manufactured which in my case few months ago it had HASL done. This inevitably would be oxidised and have some other impurities. The tining of the pads will get refreshed surface. But it might be not critical and waste of time so I will try with it next time

    Ah, so the issue you faced with your original openinverter board - some components in the power supply having the wrong polarity- that was an issue with JCLPCB and the CAD program you used?

    • @LatutaEV
      @LatutaEV  Месяц назад

      A bit of both It's JLC PCB software has a problem with Kicad rotation. Now I know and check it all the time 😁

    Is this just your own version of the OpenInverter V8 SDU board ( which also has the ESP32 ) or did you add extra features?

    • @LatutaEV
      @LatutaEV  2 месяца назад

      I made some other minor improvements but no new features at this stage

      @@LatutaEV What did you improve and where are your design files? Also why no mention in the video of this?

      @Tom-evnut Hey Tom great to hear from you. I am going through some testing and will share the design files once I know it is working 🙂

      Eventually yes but first I need to test it to make sure it works. I will release it first Patreon supporters.
