No you for a wonderfully explained demonstration of how you move dies during the cutting stage, to suit the sized cards you make. I really like the CAS look. So elegant. ❤
For me Natasha Foote was THE person to watch for card making but then a couple of days ago I discovered you and you are right up there with her. Your cards are gorgeous. Your vidéos so easy to follow. I love your voice . I’ve lived in France for 36 years but I haven’t lost my broad Lancashire accent . I wish I spoke like you, warm, educated & compétant. It’s lovely. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you so much Christine, I really really enjoyed watching you creating this Elegant and stylish card. Thank you too for all your helpful tips and tricks too. It’s really really awesome too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
You are fantastic! You explain everything so well and you are just like us….use whatever is on your desktop, to work with. I am so glad that I found your channel.
Just love your clean and simple cards and I'm addicted to watching your videos! Look forward to watching your creative talent and hearing your lovely voice. I love a variety of styles of cards and now I want to create some CAS cards. Please keep providing your tips on how to design clean and simple cards as it's easy to want to put too much on a card with all the stash & embellishments we have. Also like to see how you create the whole card in your video.
I absolutely love this technique Christine. TFS. I actually made the card that you demonstrated using this technique with the Papercraft Society box kit. It turned out really good. Love all your videos.👌
New to the your RUclips videos and loving your innovative approach and beautifully elegant cards. Not new to card making but there is something very satisfying about seeing the end result of a video tutorial being put together, don't ask me why, but it just finishes the making process off and is very enjoyable to watch. So, I liked this one having watched the vellum inking previously. Lovely card!
I would finish every card on video if I thought the whole process wouldn't be too long or tedious. Much of the finishing process is similar, but I do do it from time to time, when I think that the video won't be too long. 😊👍🏻
I would never be cross if I received one of your beautiful cards!! FYI-there are scissors designed to be used with sticky substances. They are great-never get gunned up.
Hi from S Africa. Thank you for the cool trick of using the dies to get the right size cut out. SA sizes are like UK sizes n so I also have a problem getting the right size if it’s an American brand product.
Thank you so much for doing step by step videos. I’m in awe at all the techniques, but not knowing what the technique is called or the name of the “tools, die cuts, stamp products, or where to buy good quality items.” Your videos greatly help with this so appreciated. I just got my machine and haven’t made an official card yet. I attempted to buy cardstock because I read 110 lb recommended. Then I had choices of glossy, plain, and others and I froze. Back to videos I go this is the first and so grateful. Took me over a year to try the Cricut and definitely don’t want to do that again with the card making. Haha
Thank you for showing us how you assemble your cards. The tip of glue & the glue gun was brilliant! I would though like to ask you stamping the white leaves on the vellum do you use ink or gesso? Or embossing powder? I’m wanting to make do some in white & not sure which techniques to use. PS I’d also like to Ty in advance for responding so many others show their tutorials and then don’t bother to read responses. I find asking questions helpful weather the video is recent or a year later, I find it discouraging when people don’t respond to questions. So an extra thanks from myself to you. 💕👍🏼🥰😀
ruclips.net/video/OefmZvnUhFs/видео.html this video is the one where I do the stamping on vellum. Hopefully you'll subscribe to my channel then you shouldn't miss any upcoming videos
I did see your other video on how you did the vellum. Clever. Never would of thought of stamping the other side. I haven't used any vellum yet,I have plain and silver. The one you used was it heat resistant? Love how you used your dies to MAKE them FIT. Thanks for sharing. Have to try this card.
Love your videos Chris. Could you possibly do a video on storage solutions and where to get them in the UK. I find I'm buying lots of things but struggling on how to organise them.
The usual card size I make is from half a sheet is A4 cut down the length and tent folded. The front measures 14.9cms X 10.5cms. The panel is 13.5cms X 9.5cms. so there's a half centimetre border all round.
1 yr later & I’m still in ♥️with all your very elegant CAS cards Ms. Chrissie, you’re truly Heaven sent🥰,Thank you!!!
Thank you so much 🤗

I worry that my videos will be too long and boring if I do absolutely everything from start to finish so try to do things a little at a time!
I do this all the time now, thanks to your greatness :). You’re a genius, and I really appreciate you x
You're so welcome!
'Cannibalise.' :-):-) You're a fantastic card 'engineer' along with your dialogue.
😁😁😁

That’s terrific😊😊😊
Beautiful cards! Thanks for the tip about using a glue stick on the tape.
It helps me no end!
Lovely card! Some card makers put liquid glue onto the foam tape to give them time to adjust the position of the object before it adheres completely.
I think a glue stick is a trifle less messy than liquid glue… at least for me that is! 😁😁😁

Thanks for the detailed instructions on how you prepared the card, Christine. Certainly is pretty! From Cheryl in AZ
You are so welcome!🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for showing us how to put together the complete card. It's so helpful. I really enjoy your videos!
Many thanks
Thank you Chrissie. Nice to see the actual process instead of guessing and hoping. I am loving all the vellum fun you've been sharing!
Thanks so much
Thank you for showing how you assembled your card. Very helpful and easy to follow 😁
Thanks
Thank you so much for a very helpful tutorial . I would love to see more tutorials demonstrating the process of putting the cards together
I’ll see what I can do!

I really enjoy watching your videos as I am new to card making, so I have a lot to learn!
Have fun!
I would never be cross if I received one of your beautiful cards!!
FYI-there are scissors designed to be used with sticky substances. They are great-never get gunned up.
The scissors I use are ‘anti stick’ but still need cleaning from time to time!
Great tutorial Chris with brilliant tips. Thanks for sharing your crafty knowledge xx
It’s my pleasure!
This is a brilliant method for batch making cards in a hurry 👍🏻
🥰
❤️❤️❤️ gorgeous!!!
Thank you!!❤️❤️❤️

It was a pleasure
Thank you wasn't sure how to resize my dies. Now I know! Beautiful card.
It’s a really useful technique you can make squares into rectangles and all sorts!

ever so lovely! Thank you for such a great lesson! You are a wonderful teacher.
That's really kind thank you!
Beautiful card Christine!! Your cards are always amazing - thank you for sharing your tips!!!!
My pleasure
Hi. Thank you. That was most informative and I especially liked the die shifting to reduce/enlarge the die cuts. Great stuff.
Thanks

Thank you
Love your videos Chris. Could you possibly do a video on storage solutions and where to get them in the UK. I find I'm buying lots of things but struggling on how to organise them.
I have a similar problem, but I do have rather a lot of ‘stuff’! I’m see what I can come up with!
Thank you for your excellent tuition again. May I ask though what size to you gut your panels to? For when you have a border?
The usual card size I make is from half a sheet is A4 cut down the length and tent folded. The front measures 14.9cms X 10.5cms. The panel is 13.5cms X 9.5cms. so there's a half centimetre border all round.
@@Chrissieannie thank you xx
❤️❤️❤️
♥️♥️♥️
Does the ink dry on the vellum
Yes of does! You have to be a little careful which kind of ink you use and the length of time to allow it to dry!
Our paper is shorter than yours too!
There are ways of getting round most difficulties!😃😃😃
