Thank you Archbishop Raphael. I became a catechumen less than a week ago. The road ahead feels somewhat daunting, but it's nice to know that the path I take isn't necessarily the wrong one. I can take it at my own pace rather than follow a rigid set of rules. God bless you!
@@elliotness2 Blessings to you! And welcome to the family. Thank you for your kind words. Always remember you have an angel who guides your way. All you need to do is “listen.” In time you will figure that out.
I cant wait to be able to partake in the eucharist, I almost feel unworthy. Everyday I doomscroll in comment sections to debate or have unnecessary dialogue with others when I could be immersing myself in our Holy text!
Partaking in Communion is something serious and should not ever be as automatic as saying "God bless you" when a person sneezes. Maybe you should spend more time in prayer with Him, or better yet, with His mother.
@ I definitely could be, Ive recently been through alot and had a pretty supernatural encounter with the Holy Spirit and that brought me back to my faith. Of course I dont want to rush into taking communion, its something that I cant wait for to exorcise myself and be blessed to take it but on the other hand I always feel like im falling short in reading the bible or being in prayer, thank you for your words.
I have a question so the Bible talks about wearing black robes. And a book of revelations why don’t you Wear a white rope instead of a black rope? Just curious
@@marucsbrittain5144 Blessings Marcus! When we wear liturgical vestments they begin with a white sticharion (robe.) In everyday dress we wear the black cassock or black riassa as a sign of sobriety, somberness, and death of the passions. The white robe in Revelations is something for all to strive for.
Why is it that Orthodox Priests, on the whole, want people to accept God's post 1054 A.D. visible miracles documented in the Orthodox Church whilst at the same time they want people to reject God's post 1054 A.D. visible miracles documented in the Catholic Church? especially as Protestantism wants people to reject all of the plethora of God's documented post Scripture visible miracles documented in the Orthodox and Catholic Church. The Will of the Father God bless you
Blessings and thank you for your comment. These things aren't exclusively Christian. We could also point out that Buddah came out of Hinduism, Jews rejected Jesus, and Mohammed rewrote things in the Koran. And this list is in no way complete. But these things have nothing to do with my video. The subject would be better presented on a discussion board of which there are plenty out there.
